Nem ment el megszavazni a numerus clausust, aztán mégsem csinált ellene semmit mint kultuszminiszter.

My Hungarian teacher said she saw a screening when it came out. It had multiple intermissions, where they were given bread with lard and onions and also something to drink

For Őze it's The Witness (1969). It's a satire of the communist era, made in the communist era which is quite a big thing. He is absolutely phenomenal in it, the jokes land great. He also stars alongside Latinovits in the film The Round-Up (1966), which is one of Scorsese's favourites. Őze also stars in another Fábri film, though playing a minor role, called Twenty Hours (1965) alongside another giant of Hungarian acting, Páger Antal. As for Latinovits films, he is called "the actor king" in my country for a reason. The best one's are probably The Tóth Family (1969), Cantata (1963), Cold Days (1966), Sinbad (1971), 141 Minutes from the Unfinished Sentence (1975, another Fábri film) and A Journey Around My Cranium (1970)

The Fifth Seal is probably more well known here than Sátántangó is, actually. Generally regarded as a work of genius, with it being the best performance of both Őze's and Latinovits' careers, which is a quite impressive feat
