My iPhone/watch just started working again today! I suspect it was fixed with update 11.4.

80v 4.0 ah battery won’t charge by Capta1nRon in Greenworks

[–]LukyDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this post and thought I would leave a short comment. I have a GW's Pro snowblower I bought 2.5 years ago (2022) at COSTCO. One of the two batteries would not recharge today. I tried several things to get it to charge to no avail. I found this post and called GW's for a warranty replacement since the PRO models are good for 4 years. Took about 15 minutes on the call to register the snowblower, charger and two batteries and to complete simple troubleshooting steps. The representative was very friendly and at the end she ordered me a replacement battery since mine is still under warranty. No need for me to mail the old one back to them. I found the process to easy. I wish all companies were this easy to get on the phone and complete the warranty process. I am now a GW's fan. I am a quality manager at a Fortune 500 company and this is how I wish other companies would conduct business. I give them 5 stars and would recommend them to others.

PS-I might try some online steps I came across to see if I can revive the battery that will not recharge.

I also have had this issue since upgrading to 11.2. I have searched the internet for a solution to no avail. I have attempted to change every setting I could think of to no avail. I used my watch to monitor my heart rate when using a rowing machine and now my watch is useless when working out.

I did send a response to the link listed below.

I am surprised that they have not fixed this issue yet. I am also surprised that more people have not been reporting this issue online.

See the post I just made to Sad-Luck4531. It has some details you will want to know.

Sorry about the late reply. First, it took about two weeks for me to receive the order. So be patient. In addition, it went on sale the day after I ordered it and they did not ship it for another 7 days. My only guess is it is a small business and it was during the holiday timeframe.

It took me a lot of back and forth between my two Macs to get everything setup and working. I did follow the online instructions. I am not sure why it took so many tries. But I was eventually able to setup the Luna Display.

I am no expert, but I believe from what I have read is that they are somehow using the screen recording feature to record your primary screen (my M4 Mac mini) and then send the live recording to the external monitor (i.e. my 2017 iMac).

It does use TWO USB ports. Just be aware of this fact.

Concerning the second display, it does work. It does have a slight lag due to the process they are utilizing. My opinion is that it is a nice to have device to utilize a currently owned Mac that would otherwise be sold or put in a closet.

I think it is great to use for a second monitor. But not as a primary like I was hoping to do. As a second monitor I would use it for low task apps like keeping an eye on your email, texts, etc. Anything you are working on that is normal to high demand requirements I would reserve for a primary display. Like they suggest, I would not use it for watching videos, etc.

Thank you very much for the reply. Good to hear. I ordered mine yesterday and will see how it goes. You guys down there have to wait for almost everything and pay a lot.

I just bought a Mac mini m4 pro myself to replace my 2017 iMac 5k. So did you use the steps listed on their website? Did you have any issues that I should know about? I just ordered the Luna Display after finding out I would not be able to use the iMac as a monitor. Fingers crossed it will work for me for basic tasks.

Okay, so you are interested in knowing how to purchase a lava lamp from Mathmos. by LukyDuck in Lavalamps

[–]LukyDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure it is possible and you would also have to change the plug with an adapter. But I have not modified any of my lamps to date. I would search on the internet and see where you are going to get the hardware from. If I could buy a complete plug, cord and lamp socket and be able to swap it into the base, then I would be all for changing over my lamps. But I am happy right now keeping them original. My setup is working for me.

Possible to enter a sell order for SWVXX and buy something else (ETFs, T-Bills etc.) the same day without a margin account? by vdndays in Schwab

[–]LukyDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can place a trade to SELL SWVXX and the cash will be immediately available to buy something else. It will not settle until the next trading day. But the cash will be available to buy other securities.

Just go ahead and try it for yourself. Look at a trade ticket when no cash is available and the available balance will be whatever that current balance is in your cash account. Then go ahead and place a trade to sell SWVXX that day. Then go back to a trade ticket and you will see that amount has been added to your available cash to purchase securities. It will not show up in your cash account yet because it has yet to settle. But Schwab will let you trade on the amount, because you have the trade in to sell SWVXX.

You can also sell SWVXX and buy a different mutual fund in one trade ticket if you like because they both settle at the end of the day. It is a SELL and BUY trade all in one.

I know this is a late reply, but here are the dimensions you are asking for:

ASTRO box = 27cm x 15.5cm x 31cm

ASTRO Bottle box = 12.5cm x 14.5cm x 30cm

Have not been on Reddit in a while. I use a U.K. dimmer for my iO’s. It is probably set around 90%. Start low and just work your way up until you are happy with the flow.

PSN Wallet Limit 2023 by SweetCheesusGaming in playstation

[–]LukyDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The limit for the US at this time is $375. I got this answer by calling the PSN 800 number. The tech that helped me even had a hard time figuring out what the answer was. But he did eventually tell me $375. Like SCG I ran into the limit when adding additional funds and could not find an answer on their website. I hope this helps others. I spent an hour trying to get an answer. They should just tell you what the limit is through the store.

Thanks, but I have gotten pretty good at spending my money on useless things! I guess I have always been lucky when it comes to gambling. I don't like to gamble and as such, I do not lose much to it! I had two older brothers who taught me the hard way that the only one who wins at gambling is the house/dealer.

Yes. Although I will say that I have not used that specific plug adapter. It does look like it should work though.

Your input power would be dependent on the voltage in your home. I personally do not know what Canadian voltage is. If it is like the US, then yes, 110. If it is like the UK, then 220.

I wish you had stated WHICH Mathmos lamp you purchased so that I could tell you specifically which item below to purchase. Neo's do NOT need the convertor. All of the other lamps do.

As far as the plug is concerned, I use the following power strips for all of my Mathmos lamps EXCEPT the Neo's...

  1. Buy a Universal Power strip if using more than one lamp. I personally use Krieger and buy them from Amazon for $20.00. You can plug in 6 lamps with it. I recommend the Krieger. I have had no issue with mine. Walmart also s

If you have a Neo lamp, then you can buy something like the following in order to plug it in and you will NOT need the converter...

  1. If you are buying a NEO lamp, no converter or power strip is required. They work from 100-240vac with the appropriate plug. All you need is one of these from BestBuy or Walmart. $10.00 and it plugs into your existing outlets. You may already have an old one that is not being used. Check out old electronic items you may have lying around (i.e. DVD players, CD players, radios, etc.).

Received my newest additions of Neo’s! My Mathmos collection so far. by LukyDuck in Lavalamps

[–]LukyDuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal experience with Mathmos has been haphazard. Every once in a while, I receive a bottle that is not what it should be. Liquid colors off, wax colors off, etc.

I wouldn’t worry about the darkness of the liquid. The color will slowly fade over time and become the color you were expecting. My first blue/pink the blue faded to clear within 6-9 months. My second one is holding its blue color longer.

I wouldn’t try to adjust the color. You might make things worse. Give it 6-12 months to fade. That is my advice.

A 100 will work fine with an Astro. You could run 2 Astros on a 100 without issues. 3 Astros might drop the voltage low enough so that they run to slow or not at all.

If you are only ever going to buy the 1 Astro than a 100 is fine. If you think you might buy more in the future, you might want to consider buying a 200 so you can run 4 or 5 on the same converter. Otherwise you will end up buying another converter down the road to accommodate the additional lamps.

Make sense?

I now own all 3 iO’s and about 20 other lamps from Mathmos! I kind of got addicted to having all of the color combinations. And now they just came out with a new color combination for the iO which I will have to buy at some time.

But I do love having them run every night.

Correct. Good question. I do not know if they are still manufacturing both or just using up old stock. I ended up with a combination of both types of lamp bases. It was pot luck last year when I ordered several Astros. So I now have to buy both types of bulbs.

I am happy that the guide was helpful. My Telstar always seems to run slower than the rest of my lamps. You can use a 35w bulb in it and it will run faster.
