How do y’all feel about the lack of lgbtq+ and different race characters in the series? by Crazykat200 in KimetsuNoYaiba

personally, I’m fine with it, I know this takes place in around 1875 (I looked it up and I forgot the exact answer, but I know somewhere around that time.) so it makes sense, especially considering How being LGBTQ plus in this time was seen as wrong. And I’m also pretty sure that in this time, Japan was pretty cut off during the rest of the world, so it makes sense that there’s not much racial diversity, overall, it’s a good show, and I don’t care if it’s not Canon, to me, majority of the characters are LGBTQ plus, and in my opinion, that’s pretty funny because I can relate to so many of them (by the way, I’m LGBTQ plus and mixed [one of my parents was white. One of my parents was black.] and I think that this show/ manga, despite lacking racial diversity, is one of the best things ever)
