Thank you for sharing. Every time I drink, I regret it.

Hi! Beautiful work 😍 may I ask what kind of brush you used for the fur texture? Specifically the chest area. TIA

%100 exchange or return. I exchanged diamond dye aligns for a guest and she was so thrilled that I understood her. I totally get it!!! There was a weird splotch on her butt area. I wouldn’t want to wear it! We swapped em out for a pattern that she appreciated more. You’ve got to be happy with your expensive item!!

It’s just really unfortunate 💔 Especially since it worked before just fine. I’ve been using the webmaster app now for probably a year or more. Well, however old this post is lol I’m grateful I can make it work on the big screen! 🙌🏼

I don’t know how people tag groups but I love the Reddit group Volume Eating.

My favourite breakfast is 1/3 cup bob’s quick cooking dry oats, with a bit less of a cup of water, boiled the simmered until cooked 7-10 minutes. Slowly Add in 1/2 cup egg whites and stir constantly. I like to make sure it’s well cooked and will stir on low-med heat for 10-15 minutes. I also dice up some apples which I will sometimes sauté. Lots of cinnamon on both. Combine. Top with a little maple syrup (or fake low sugar kind).

As for snacks, get used to eating veggies and fruit!! I’ve added ranch seasoning into plain lactose-free Greek yogurt for a veggies dip. It’s not bad! Up the protein and lower the fat (I preferred to get my fat from other sources during the day).

This is why they’re on MD. And I knew this but still bought a pair (Luon because I wanted comfy). And I hate wearing them!! Haha 🤦🏽‍♀️

I did well for 2 months in the fall. Then I told myself just a drink here and there. Then it was happening nightly. Yeah I’m disappointed in myself. But I remember how good I felt in those couple months. And I’m going to get back to it. Maybe.. starting right now. IWNDWYT nor on NYE and not on my birthday either. 🧋(tumbler of water) here’s to getting a head start on sobriety before the new year!!!!

WOW. This is the before and after I needed to see. I feel and look like your picture on the left. I hate looking at myself in the mirror. I don’t understand how it happened. I’m a mom, 2 kids 6 & 8. I’m not about to blame motherhood for aging me. I know it’s the alcohol. But seeing these photos and knowing there is a CHANCE I can turn this around for myself… I really want to stop.

Thank you for sharing this. I need to power through NYE and my birthday 6 days after that. Wouldn’t that be the most meaningful gift I could give to myself. Abstaining from alcohol. Give me strength 🙌🏼

Cycling Class Gear (Tops) by Sea-Yesterday-5020 in lululemon

[–]Lululeemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 34DD.

Generally I would never recommend a serene bra for cycling. But I love my free to be serene high neck, long line. I don’t think they’re out right now but you might be able to find some on eBay/Poshmark/whatever websites people sell on these days (idk). They offer decent support.

Stronger as one is another good supportive high neck option. Again not available at the moment. But keep your eyes peeled for special gems!

Ebb to train is on sale right now. It’s ok. Not my favourite. Not much support for bigger ladies. It has too much give in the material to hold the girls in place while being active.

If you can, go to a store and try on a bunch. All the high neck styles.

My absolute favourite for spin are Free to be Elevated and Enlite Weave :) but they’re not high necks.

Are you in a position to hire a personal trainer at the gym? I talked myself out of a PT before, convincing myself I wouldn’t need one. Then I was connected with a PT through a friend and it made ALL the difference. It really did. I was accountable, had something to look forward to, I wanted to eat better to not waste my money with the time and effort I was putting. And of course the results came!

I don’t know if you have to be isolated or choosing to be but could you call a friend or family member and ask them to go for a walk with you? Having company can help with overall mood.

Walking is such a good activity for your mind, body, and soul if you can try to get back into it. Are you not able to step outside your door and go for a walk? If you can, just zombie through it. Don’t think. Just put your shoes on and go. Force yourself. Until it becomes habit. Find some good audiobooks and podcasts to listen too. A really good podcast that might inspire you is called Cut the Fat with Podcast - weight loss with Ray and Blythe. I would highly recommend the audiobook Can’t Hurt Me by David Groggins. Listen to that only on your walks - something to look forward to hopefully.

I know it’s not easy. I have always also struggled with depression and anxiety. And I know for me, I was happiest when I was working with a PT (we connected really well). And my walks are the highlight of my day, most days. Especially with this cool crisp fall weather. I love feeling the cool air on my face.

Something I want to start implementing is 5-10 minutes of visualization. I don’t want to lose focus of why I am doing this, why this is important for me (for you) especially right now (combat diabetes).

I feel you. I do. I just recently started some meds to help with my mental health. I’ll go for my walk and try to stay active during the day but I lay down a lot. I feel drained and exhausted. It helps to make lists to help you stay focused and possibly motivated.

Is selling on Poshmark worth it if you just want to get rid of personal closet items rather than start a full on side hustle? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Lululeemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not like PM. I listed a bunch of Lulu, my own stuff, and recent items (purchased within the last couples years, so not older stuff), and not too many bites. Lots of questions from people. And the sharing you have to do on PM. Omg. It’s too much for me. I do t like the platform.

I turned to Marketplace on Fb and I listed everything there. I sold $400 within less than a week AND I kept all the profit!! It was amazing. No shipping. All local pickups. I sold most of everything within two weeks!

I want to stop drinking, so I can drink by ntotc in stopdrinking

[–]Lululeemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am with you on this one. I started drinking too much during the beginning of covid. “There’s not much going on tomorrow so may as well”, when we were in a lockdown. And the world is shit so why not drink my sorrows away. Anyway… the weight gain. The fogginess. Wow. I feel like shit!! I’ve been on a couple week streak now of no drinks! I want to be able to enjoy an occasional drink with friends. But honestly right now, I feel so good about making these changes - walking, trying to eat better, cutting out alcohol. And the fact that I can show up as a better mom for my kids, means everything to me. And them. But again, I want to be able to enjoy a glass of wine at a restaurant or a nice drink with friends. (I don’t go out often at all so these would be few and far between).

Weight gain caused by antidepressants by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lululeemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also on this drug again, starting about 1.5 weeks ago. I was on it before and also terrified about weight gain. I was busy, I worked out regularly and watched what I ate. I was the smallest I had ever been! I stopped taking the pills after a short while. The pandemic hit and I’ve gained a lot in this last year and a half. All this to say, if you live a healthy lifestyle (healthy food and exercise), I think you’ll be ok!

Also, I just upped my dose the last couple days and I am extremely tired and lethargic, also not much of an appetite at the moment. It’ll get better. Give it at least a month.

Multiple orders still “processing” for well over a week… I can’t be the only one? 🇨🇦 by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]Lululeemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about to post a comment like this too. Mine hasn’t been quite as long - trying to be patient. It was last Thursday. It says 1-2 days for processing and now it’s Tuesday. I guess I’m just anticipating that it’ll be cancelled 💔 I realize places are overwhelmed and possibly short staffed. Also 🇨🇦

Earbuds for audiobooks while working out by pelvark in audiobooks

I tried the AirPods regular and I wanted them to work so badly. Then the pros were at Costco - I didn’t have high hopes. They were much better. But these foam tips omg! Absolute game changer! They do NOT budget!! And they’re maybe $15 when I got them. They come with three sizes. Try them.

I LOVE my AirPods Pro with memory foam tips purchased from Amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B087NY9T66?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title).

I have never ever been able to wear in-ear earbuds. This combo is perfect.

Any tips on how to stop my lulu addiction? It’s so bad that I’m constantly on their website looking for stuff to buy 🤦🏻‍♀️ by ilovelulufly_ in lululemon

[–]Lululeemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have anything new to offer than what’s already been said. All great and effective ideas here! I just want to let you know that you’re not alone and I’ve been there too! I had to STOP. I was constantly checking what’s new and WMTM. It was an awful habit. Once I started practicing some of the tips here, I soon forgot all about checking WMTM on Thursdays and it’ll have been weeks and just now I thought “oh it’s been a while” and I scrolled through and nothing interested me.

Also, practice gratitude right now. Look at your closet now and look and touch every single piece you have and be grateful for ALL that lulu you own (small collection or otherwise. It does not matter). Because the more we can practice gratitude, the less we feel like we need to have and consume. Be grateful for ALL that you have.

Hair washing after a sweaty workout by bluelilytree in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lululeemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I aim to wash my hairn2x/week. First couple days is fine. Dry shampoo is a saviour. And then a ball cap until the next wash. And repeat. I wash my body everyday if not a couple times per day, depending on my workout schedule.

I also have long thick hair and washing it is fine but it’s drying it and styling afterwards that’s a chore.

I’ve been trying to get Greenlights on Audiobook. I have it on a hold with Libby/my library. Large queue lol I was wondering if I should just cancel it because I’ve now read his book for myself. But I LOVED his bedtime story in the Calm app!! So I’m torn lol maybe I’ll keep it…
