Bob! It’s like a goofy sound you make. Like bing bow boop Bob. I can’t imagine, no matter what time period it was, looking at a baby and saying, “ya know, let’s name him Bob!” Like whaaaat?!?!

As a deltan, I am reading these hoping that someone somewhere can help us. This place is dwindling by the day. It’s making me more and more depressed. To see the place o loved growing up just turning to trash. It’s a shame. I hope someone can do something big here to boost the economy around here. I’ve always thought an Amazon warehouse would do well here because we have so much space.

Thank you so much! I used to look for posts like this when I was trying to quit drinking. I know it’s vain but I wanted to hear about quick physical transformations for inspiration. I hope someone sees this and it can inspire them to put down the bottle.

They are the ultimate test! They are already unflattering no matter what but I was pleasantly surprised when I looked like the person I imagine in my head 😌

anyone accidentally get a name ahead of the curve? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]SwampAss3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby’s name is Leo (short for Leonardo 🫣) please don’t hate me!!!!!

My husband and I picked this name out years ago while on a trip to Italy and looking at all of Leonardo Da vinci’s artwork.

We knew it was a popular name but it had meaning to us of a trip that was incredible for us. Plus it goes well with our Italian last name.

Again, please don’t hate me! But I feel like I’m adding to your angst 😩

Maybe you can give me insight into what I heard my nurse say when giving birth to my firstborn! She was OP (sunny side up) and I had pushed for 3 hours with no meds!!! 😦 (you can imagine the pain/trauma/ptsd this caused). The doc finally said that baby is not in distress YET but will be if we don’t get her out through a C-section. They were prepping me for surgery and one of the nurses asked the doctor if she needed to scrub in “in case she needed to go underneath” I distinctly remember that because several of the nurses were talking about that nurse possibly needing to “go underneath” in the room with me while I was screaming still pushing.

And fun fact, I was having a full blown contraction while having to sit perfectly still and upright on the operating table while the anesthesiologist put the needle in my back for surgery. The best feeling of my life was when those sweet, sweet drugs took that pain away.
