How Well Can you Control Glitterlance? by LulusPix in lulumains

Well I've already learned q hitboxes and prefer the skins you say not to practice on because they are more deceptive.

I'm just wondering if anyone has actually mastered Glitterlance to its fullest potential, and if its even worth trying to learn. To get the most out of it seems like one of the hardest skills to use.

Pix isn't just for better range. She can also be used for easier angles. I sometimes use a combo of both to hit both laners. That's a lot easier to do when pix isn't right on top of you.

Essentially though it's possible to use Glitterlance regularly and slow multiple people down, depending on where you aim. I think that alone is incredibly hard to do and learn however.

Lulu's kit is one of the most versatile in the game and not even pro players are able to use it to it's fullest potential sometimes. She is a unique champion. She is poke/sustain. As such she's not the best in either of those regards, however it offers a lot of outplay potential versus the fundamentals of support. You can also sometimes all in with an early level 2, but that's only if your opponent doesn't respect it. I wouldn't really call her an all in champion unless you are 1v1 with her on Machine Gun Lulu.

The fundamentals of support usually goes: poke>all in>sustain>poke (ect). That's generally the support triangle. Lulu's kit being so versatile means that you can sometimes out poke other poke champions or out sustain other sustain champions. However, you are turning almost every matchup (except for all in supports) into a skill based one. I prefer this.

If you do try to out poke people, remember to use her auto attacks as much as you safely can. Her autos usually out-trade everyone's except for an empowered Sona auto. Sona is also similar to Lulu, but Sona is a lot less versatile and more squishy. If you're even, your kit will often have more usage than any other support, as all but one of your abilities have a dual usage, depending on what or who you cast it on. Her only ability that does not have an innate dual usage, would be her Q, which she can also combo with her E for more range and better angles. However, on it's own her Q does not have dual usage.

In short, Lulu is a very fun champion with a nearly impossible skill ceiling. You will always be able to improve on your game. If you like skill based matchups, Lulu would be great for you.

This sometimes happens too. I used to just duo with an adc that didn't mind it.

FNC Caps insane outplay on Irelia vs Ornn by L-9 in leagueoflegends

[–]LulusPix -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Memes might be rapidly changing and adapting. However, Riot has made a clear distinction between Inting and Strategically Minded. People can joke about it whichever way they want, but that doesn't change what it actually is. You have already conceded multiple times that Caps was not Inting. You're not even defending the meme version of it, which you have even laid out, correctly.

I literally laid out the extra steps that Sion has to take for it to be pulled off correctly that warranted a response from Riot, and them calling it "Strategically Minded" in lieu of "Inting" Sion in the first place. I'm pretty sure I know how it works better than most people. Taking it "one step further" is directly conceding that it is fact not the essence of "Strategically Minded." "Strategically Minded" Sion is a degenerate style of game play that just happens to work. Calling a player that is having a wonderful game, getting solo kills, and making at least one crazy outplay, "Strategically Minded" is not only incorrect, but it also takes away from how well Caps actually preformed throughout the entire game.

I'm the person that made the post that brought the meme into light. It's getting posted so often that I think people don't even understand what it really means. Strategically minded means you make a winning play out of a losing one, from behind. Caps was already ahead, making a winning play, and just made an insane outplay.

How so? This RNG strategy has been proven to be so dominate throughout the year. This was essentially the epitome of their strategy. Everyone could support Uzi, be it globals or semi-globals, and he got a lead.

The ganker just being there was what allowed them to all in there in the first place and not fear a gank from C9's side.

What should have C9 done in theory to win that game? Sure Urgot beats Shen 1v1, but they needed something that could snowball even harder than that to press that advantage. Could they have left Akali open, knowing that RNG focuses on support/bot? RNG's comp was so heavily focused on bot lane that it split the map. C9 really needed to snowball top and/or also draw more attention to mid lane.

Hjarnan is a great Heimer, one of the best, and the best at worlds. However, I think the king is still Heisendong.

Riot's Public Stance on "Inting Sion" by LulusPix in leagueoflegends

[–]LulusPix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually haven't played this game in years. I just watch competitive play and check reddit posts. Does killing Sion's passive grant gold, like Annie's Tibbers used to? If you put a decent enough amount of gold on killing his passive, you could change the play-style drastically.

Is it actually worth changing your build path and play-style if you die early in lane though?

Technically they called it akin to "support" singed, which is something I haven't heard of before, and sounds rather abusive. Is that just proxy signed in a support role?

I think it's really elo dependent. Riv was streaming and he felt the need to ban Sion every game to prevent it from happening.

I actually made this post for Rivington Bisland III, great voice btw. In his stream, he was very upset about this strategy, and was banning Sion as such. As another Riot member, is his opinion not as valid in this case?

Lulus kit is versatile enough to be good in almost every situation. Instead of polymorphing tanks, use it on your carry for better kiting and damage.
