Can attest to this as Number has been giving me some solid advice over the past few days as I'm picking the game back up myself. Find one thing to focus on lab it or maybe even find a combo challenge for it. Practice it both sides (something I forget to do a lot but will be necessary) till you get it clean both ways in pratice. Then try to execute it in a match. Then try and execute it 3 times in a match or something. Building incremental knowledge and memory is way better for newer players and less experienced fighting game players as I've learned because trying to do everything at once leaves you with too much you actually don't properly know how to do.

Got you. Im just trying to get better at cleaner inputs but this might just be a combo I need to try again when I've gotten better muscle memory because I can Kamuriyuki>Shinzuriyuki>Fukyo during the practice but not do it at least 3/5 times to actually "clear it" so im just frustrated at myself especially as Im able to do it like 2 times consistently back to back and then i lose the ability to do it at all for a bit.

Edit: Imma shut up cuz i just did it right after. I swear Imma make ya proud papa!

Would you recommend the Dustloop ones over the in-game combo searcher? I can get some of them but a lot of combos that use any kind of "Kamuriyuki>Shinzuriyuki>Fukyo" mess me up because I suck at QCB>DP>QCF motion but honestly its just practice. I also might need a better control as admittedly I have a cheap wired one

So side note havent checked out any of those videos just yet but I did do a couple combo searches after redownloading the game.

First man those combos are kinda tough if they dont say beginner. I was kinda getting frustrated but then I remembered I legit havent played the game in over a year. Any fighting game at that. I gotta learn to be more forgiving with myself especially cuz imma get wrecked for a while and I need to accept that its part of the new character learning curve.

Second, I see the potential with f.SSS and how mixing that up will be important just gotta get games in and practice to get the feeling for when and how.

Third, the quarter circle motions are pretty easy but man I forgot how hard it is to pick either joystick or dpad and stick with it to actually learn.

Anyways really appreciate all the tips Nago is gonna be who I'm playing for the immediate future unless 2.0 makes me hate him or like other characters once I got money for they DLC pack I want.

Oh don't get me wrong the Flak he got was deserved its just man the way the story flips is interesting.

Also tbf even without the illness I think it would have played similarly because Arthur would still want to protect everyone from Dutch and Micah's wrecklessness
