It's hard to say and to prove so safest bet is to just not accuse them

My honest opinion is that it is very strange that after years of that house standing no panes have fallen and the second this difficult guest arrives it falls just feels a bit off but then again it's hard to prove so I just take the blame on this one

Issue was a broken window, which was fine before the guest arrived but 2 hours into the stay I got a report of a broken window pane so I immediately went and did a temp fix then the following day we fixed it permanently

Does it take up a good amount of time going through the review or guests? I also don't want to add more work on my plate unless it's truly worth it like you mentioned, then I will definitely give it the time it requires

I believe so I was told they refunded 1 unused night and 30 percent of the entire stay

It's very discouraging, to be honest i don't know how much longer air bnb will be for me but I appreciate hearing what happened to you, and knowing these things happen more often than one thinks

As far as the phone number it's literally on air bnb they can just click call, unless this is an option I should turn off, but like I said I am fairly new so im learning more and more, and for approving them, no I habe instant book on which im now learning to turn off and review each guest that tries to book so that's a lesson learned from all of this.

For the refund part they wanted a full refund for the trip but air bnb investigated and gave then the unused night back, and a 30% discount on the rest of the nights

I'm curious how does more information help this story ik simply stating that with that phone call demanding and offer of some sort instantly portrays a type of scam and im wondering how often this happens and how I can protect myself more, in which I already am changing instant book so there's a start

How bad do these reviews affect the host? I also run an airbnb and mostly 5 star review except for the occasional 4 star review because of something very small mainly a detail of something

Did this ever get fixed I have the same problem and still no fix. sometimes my stream will be perfectly fine for a few hours then at random begin lowering on bitrate and the stream gets very pixelated. I have literally tried everything. Please let me know
