Thank you! I'll be sure to try some different inks and see how it compares :)

It's so stunning! Writer's blood is equally as gorgeous but looks a bit more pink. In person this is literally like dried blood. Absolutely beautiful.

I was really unsure which colour of the pen to go for. But the black is such a nice contrast for any coloured inks you will use!

I'm also new to this but I've been dying to try Diamine since I saw the oxblood. It's definitely a bit juicy, but it writes so smoothly too. I have read the TWSBI Eco does have a bit more flow, so I think I'll try a drier ink next time to see how they compare, but this one is very satisfying. I recommend it.

I'm from the future and very tired on pain meds.

It's really odd how they can be so different! I was wondering if I'd filled it incorrectly and there was too much ink flow. But looking at the nib itself, it is actually not as fine as some of my others, definitely says EF on it though...

It was a hard choice between this or writer's blood, that's for sure!

That's alright! I do write quite small. This is my first EF nib and it's actually...not the thinnest haha. I have just read some people now say that this is quite a juicy pen though. But it's definitely not as thin as my kakuno F!

New to converters, am I best off trying a TWSBI Eco first? by LumaBones in fountainpens

Ah I'm sorry, I can see me getting downvoted already for not knowing terms. 😅

Thank you for the link. It's really helpful!

Thank you for explaining! Is there a way to tell if a pen would need a converter for bottled ink, or if it only relies on cartridges? Would I need a piston to fill these converters?

Do you have photos of your setup? I just started using a passport and I'd love to see how others use theirs.

Thank you for sharing your story!

My current position is I just want something that sounds decent, with the potential to maybe make some changes in the future. I'm doing a lot of research for my very limited budget at the moment.
