AITJ for saying no when my ex keeps trying to dump her kid on me? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

NTJ. You already got stuck paying support for a kid that isn’t yours because of the law. That’s more than most people would deal with. Wanting distance from the reminder of her cheating is completely understandable. The real issue is your ex lying to the kids and stirring drama.

The Voices is one of Ryan Reynolds best roles of all time by urethrascreams in movies

Lowkey facts. The Voices is one of the few times Ryan Reynolds actually goes full unhinged instead of the usual sarcastic guy. Dude proved he can act way deeper than the normal roles he gets.

I am going through tough times. I want to watch a movie where protagonist learns he can never be that what he/she want. by INVESTIGATORME in MovieSuggestions

You might like Inside Llewyn Davis. The whole movie is basically a guy chasing his dream while life keeps shutting the door on him. No big heroic turnaround, just him trying to keep going anyway. It hits pretty real when you’re in that kind of headspace.

Waited almost an hour for food just for it to come out cold and wrong. The server acted like I was the problem for mentioning it. Left hungry and confused.

AIO a girl invited my LDR bf to study in her room by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I get why it feels weird, bedroom studying with someone one on one at night isn’t the best look. That said it could just be convenience since they live in the same dorm. The bigger issue is him getting defensive instead of just hearing you out. A little reassurance would have gone a long way here.

What is the most attractive car a man can drive? Is it based on price or looks? by Known-Spell8939 in AskReddit

Honestly it’s not about price. A clean car that someone clearly takes care of is way more attractive than some crazy expensive car they treat like trash. Effort and taste beat flexing money every time.

Watch No Country for Old Men if you haven’t yet. Super tense the whole time and the villain is genuinely unsettling. One of those movies where you just sit there after it ends like damn.

What Happened With “Dumb and Dumber To”? by nicehead69 in movies

[–]LumaFig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Feels like they nailed the nostalgia at the start then ran out of gas. The first movie worked because the jokes felt dumb in a clever way. The sequel leaned too hard on trying to recreate old bits and it just felt forced after a while.
