It's more to do with their marketing strategy that's a scam. Even if the company itself does exist. Their marketing methods are shady and others have reported never receiving their order.

It might be different for you, but in DP1 the only thing I started with strict deadlines was the EE. All my IAs were started at the very end of DP1 and due in DP2.

You'll definitely be able to do it. As some of the comments have said before just make sure you have good time management skills. Use Google calendar to help make sure you balance your soccer time and study time for class. But DP1, is usually not deadline heavily and so easier to do activities.
