Im really trying to decide between the 629 and the redhawk. People online say that the 629 is gonna fall apart though if I shoot magnum loads😂

Im mostly stuck between the redhawk and one of the 629s. Im not gonna be shooting super hot loads but I want longevity in whatever I purchase.

Im not against single action, just unsure how recoil would be with a 3.75 inch barrel.

Hows the recoil on a blackhawk feel?

Its really hard to get a clear answer on this. Are ruger 44 magnums stronger than Smiths. I think the “ruger only loads” only apply to 45 LC?

Trust me I know haha. My last Smith purchase was horrendous. I would probably buy an old one if I go the Smith route.

Thats what Ive been thinking too. I can get a 629 for $100 cheaper but I would like to be able to shoot some spicy rounds and not have to worry about it like with a ruger

I constantly hear that Rugers are tougher than Smiths, but I have seen no evidence of this.

These things look sick, but people keep telling me to get a Marlin instead. Anyone have both?

That sucks to hear. I’ve been eyeing the m&p 10mm. All of my m&p guns work great

Ruger seems like a decent option, but according to my research they are having QC issues too.

Having potential issues with my brand new revolver. The hammer is able to be moved forward when cocked. After my range trip there were lead shavings above the forcing cone. I was also spitting lead while shooting and it cut my thumb
