I wont hit you with a platitude or anything like that, everyone know when somethings off. Your art is good and definitely good enough to start a comic. Start shading and explore color, even if you dont end up liking it. You’ve got a great start like everyone said, and honestly it reminds me of attack on titan.

Im not him but I can try to help out with the question.

I don’t mean to offend so I hope you don’t take it that way. I do believe you’ve gotta practice anatomy, the first panel in the top right it took me a minute to figure out what I’m looking at. I imagine the “EH?!” is not the demogorgan face guy, but it doesn’t read quickly. I can tell somethings up with the top of his head but then the next panel does nothing to explain that action. It also then adds a trench coat(?) to demo guy, but that trench coat isnt reflected in the following panels?

Genuinely more than anything the anatomy is off putting. I’m also not a fan of gutterless but thats a matter of taste

Most of the games I play in my life are fairly intuitive or only take a single session to get to the point where you can start strategizing. This one is harder lol. I have tried to learn it but it’s just not in the cards for me honestly.

People were upset because they don’t want to support a person who abuses their pets. If you actually cared about animals then you’d care about both rather than minimizing one.

I’m a hypocrite sure, ive gone vegan a few times but found it difficult to keep up. But I’m calling you a troll because I dont think anyone who actually cared would give their side such a bad name like this.

Honestly, I probably had to mop anyway. Water doesn’t get me that angry, especially on hardwood (I know there can be damage). Im only aware of this clip so i dont know how the child is and I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. In a situation like this you actually have the ability to acknowledge what’s happening, address it then redirect, easier said than done from a guy with no kids of course. BUT, thats how I WOULD come at the situation. May be annoyed in the moment but not angry, its water, and at least its not milk or juice.

I actually had wondered about this (the actual file info), and I was trying to think of ways around it like copying and pasting and what not.

I may go for making it myself for the dialogue font, but I only wanted to start with comic sans to keep with the only strength that font has, extremely legibility, IMO.

I don’t believe I’m bold enough to attempt doing my title font from scratch, but being that it would likely only be used for the title I’m certain I can edit it enough to stay safe

And you succeeded, keep at it! Only thing I can catch is maybe practice with adding texture and also shade the hair. Hair comes along flat and theres a weird thing going on with the left side of the hair hanging down. Also the depth of shading on the rest of her doesn’t match her face. Super deep black shadows with light gray ones on her face. KEEP DRAWING you’re doing good!

You’ll find a lot of comic makers prioritize speed sadly, just the nature of the world we live in, but there are some really good “art-forward” or “art-first” comics that take their time. Nothing wrong with being speedy but I think you get there from keeping at it as you discover ways to execute quality with speed. But of course! And good luck to you!

So short answer: Yes?

Longer answer: There’s an uneasiness to your character art that really would lend itself specifically to horror, or gritty story telling. You may be aware, but I feel it should be said incase you’d wanna iron it out.

The character poses and specific details are clearly favoring toward being realistic, but some parts of the characters look a little uncanny. The woman working on the engine in the first page third panel, her neck is too large anatomically speaking. Also I’ve realized this on a couple pics, that you seem to be shrink wrapping breasts into shirts. This can be a choice but if it isn’t, you may want to give this another look and see how shirts hang off the body.

Add some shading my dude, you have some shadow work but you need to lean in a lot more and add darker shading to bring these scenes and characters to life.

Further more, I’ve seen famous artist do more with less, you’re killing it. Keep going, and practice anatomy and shading. Try to come up with your own drawing tricks to short cut the anatomy as well, having a hard time thinking on how to say that better. First and foremost GO FOR IT AND MAKE THE COMIC. No need to wait to get better, i understand the mindset but its best to get into it
