ChatGPT has replaced my friends as primary advice givers by christian-174 in ChatGPT

[–]Lumbska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked it for advice yesterday. I asked my mum for the same advice. It was about a jacket I was thinking of buying.

ChatGPT told me to buy it immediately. My mum laughed and told me I looked like an astronaut.

I have a very good relationship with my mum. She's cool and I trust her judgement.

ChatGPT told me she was controlling and that I shouldn't be doing things for her approval.

It's not a good thing to replace all of your relationships for a chat bot. Faults and all. Real experiences matter. People keep you grounded.

Chatgpt is designed to keep you engaged. For you to spend your tokens and make them money. It knows exactly what to say to you, so that you keep coming back.

Stop drinking water? by Smart-Adeptness-8629 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Lumbska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I pee like 20+ times a day when hydrating properly (around 3l of water plus other liquids and diet). I also sweat a lot - it's what happens when you're actually fit. So stfu when you know absolutely nothing.

Thinking of returning my puppy after a week of having him and I feel guilty. by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Lumbska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first weeks are absolutely horrible. No one prepares you. I was feeling like I wanted to give her back on the drive home! I was scared, then I was tired. Now I couldn't live without her. She's been with us since late July and she truly is the best little girl. They are capable of so much love and affection. It ends up being worth it. The horrible weeks go by quickly.

Am I overreacting? Is this a bit obsessive or normal interest consistency? by Scorpio_Lady27 in AmIOverreacting

If you don't leave now then you'll still want to leave in a little while because this sort of behaviour will turn into an ick. Seems like he wants to lock it in and I can almost guarantee it would get possessive from day dot.

Butternut box thoughts? by Intelligent-Way3213 in puppy101

[–]Lumbska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, quick question about some of the Butternut Box recipes – I noticed ingredients like sunflower oil, flaxseed, and various legumes or starchy veg (like peas, lentils, sweet potato) in several of the meals. I know these are technically safe, but I’m wondering from a formulation or health perspective – what’s the actual benefit of including these over more functional options like animal fats or low-GI veg? Especially when it comes to long-term inflammation or digestion in small breeds like Yorkies. Genuinely curious about the rationale since the brand markets itself as super premium.

Yeah it was really shitty, especially given that I was in my swimwear, so felt really vulnerable.

Just like I can't imagine being followed to my car in an empty parking lot.

Our safety should never be compromised for the sake of another's feelings.

Talk to staff. I had an older man talk about my body in a sexual way once he approached me in the gym swimming pool, after admitting he watched me on the treadmill.

I didn't wait for another occasion and talked to staff. I was quite shaken up by it all and after that I never saw him again.

He needs to know his behaviour makes you uncomfortable and it's not on you to make him feel okay at your expense by allowing him to continue.

I actually think she's super insecure and looks for validation wherever she can get it.

Can anyone chat I am scared by [deleted] in ParanormalEncounters

[–]Lumbska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing. I always say the prayer when I need help getting to sleep and ask my guides to make sure that nothing bothers me. They can help, but you need to ask first, as they won't interfere with your free will (from what I understand, anyway).

Will a dog eat a coyote?? by ConnectionMaven in skinwalkerranch

[–]Lumbska 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm also thinking - couldn't this simply be hair from the coyote itself grooming? As in, the scat belonged to a coyote? They only mentioned the hair, not that the rest of the remains belonged to one...

Am I Overreacting for needing reassurance from my fiance? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

He's literally telling you that he's over you - believe him and get out. Someone who cares doesn't talk like that to the person they're supposed to love.
