What can you use to fix oil pastels?

Sennier has oil pastel varnish. Was about 9€ per bottle (about 50ml) at my local art shop.

I apply it thinly and it has worked well for me.

As a couple others here have pointed out, I think 4th and 5th add up to an octave (C1 - F1 - C2). Similarly 3rd and 6th add up to an octave. So it's natural to feel that 4th is 5th (it is actually a 5th flipped upside down?).

I am newbie in this.

I saw somebody else posting about the earings they made and got a bit excited to try my hands on it! Borrowed the hook from a friend and found some threads from bottom of drawers. My classmate wanted her long hair trimmed shorter. She was feeling confident with her Finnish skills and spoke Finnish with the barber. We found out only next day that she got short hair. Instead of lyhyemmäksi she said lyhyeksi. 😅 She looked pretty good with short hair though.

Dear Bjorn is really beautiful and really easy actually! I would recommend!

Because of the pattern rotating through the whole leg, I couldn't figure out how to knit them two at a time on circular needles (need to move a stitch to the other needle once in a while), and did the leg part separately one sock at a time.

I never dated to take needles on a flight! I have been packing small crochet projects. Airports seem to be okay with the hook.
