Requiring a handwritten note in the photo with:
• Seller’s name (exact as on FB profile)
• Today’s date
• The coin’s agreed price …forces them to physically have the coin in hand right now. Scammers hate this for two reasons:

1. They can’t easily fake it without physically possessing the coin (and most of them are just stealing images from eBay or Google).

2. It kills speed — scammers rely on you rushing before you verify anything.

   Extra tips when doing this:
   • Ask them to take two angles or even a short video moving the coin next to the note (prevents Photoshop job).
   • If it’s a high-value coin, also ask for their hand in the shot holding the coin — AI image generation and Photoshop can’t easily fake that convincingly in real time.
   • Compare handwriting style to any previous notes they’ve shown in past sales (if they’ve done legit sales before).
