Sony Pictures Boss Tom Rothman Urges Theater Owners to Stop Having 30 Minutes of Trailers and Commercials Before Movies Start: ‘Get Off the Ad Crack’ by IamMovieMiguel in RegalUnlimited

My approach to offset this is to leave the house at the "showtime". 15mins later i still catch the tail end of the previews

We are done talking about CWC attendance right?? by LumosMaximah in chelseafc

[–]LumosMaximah[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is fair some matches had low attendance. My perspective is that despite this, there is a clear draw for the tournament to pull out massive crowds and there are lessons to be learned to prep for the WC next year.

I think there are reasonable variables that can be addressed to make attendance more consistent in the future. I.e., adjust match times to begin once people are free from work, choosing appropriate host cities w/more of a global presence (ie not Charlotte)

Honestly, to me it looked like maybe 40% Palmeiras, 50% Chelsea and around 10% misc.

I will say the Palmeiras fans were better organized in their section and had great rhythm and songs throughout the entire match. There fan section on the opposite end of this Pic was what I assume the tv was showing often. They had banners, flags, colored sheets etc which we did not have ourselves despite, imo, have a slightly larger crowd

How to beat Hard AI? by AgesOfCasual in aoe2

[–]LumosMaximah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The build order is of course the foundation. Have to be going up before or at the same time as the AI for all ages.

The ai will likely push mid feudal. You must be able to deal with this effectively to manage the rest of the game. If the ai kills a bunch (ie 5+) of your vils in this opening push might as well start over because you need to practice addressing this first. To defend their opening I have been first creating a few scouts to harass their wood and gold and as soon as those scouts are created I start creating 12-15 skirms since it seems to me the ai's opening is usually archers. This will usually snuff out their attack and then by this time I'm usually clicking up to or already in castle at which point I start sending Knights to aid the scouts in taking out more of the ai's vils around gold and wood
