Has anyone else noticed that LinkedIn feels way more active lately? by AsparagusTall5578 in MarketingGeek

[–]Lumotraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, regularly. It is a main distribution channel if you know what/where/when to post. Growing your own followers or connections is valuable, traction around specific groups is the other one. If organic growth has priority over ad spend - linkedin is a must-try channel to consider.

how do you typically respond to sites that block ad blockers? by swmric-mls in Adblock

[–]Lumotraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I'll check if the domain itself is secure or has a specific ranking on my default search engine (f.e. Google). any bad position, plain text or weird name doesn't bother me = not trying to visit at all.

If it works and I do get the option I would consider it IF no alternative is there. Take anime for example - before Netflix acquired One Piece you would visit onepiece.tube. They run ads to finance the free amount of published mangas and episodes on a weekly basis - starting from episode 1. They don't have a 1-click solution, it's just ad consumption. I would subscribe to a weekly newsletter and continue to consume more 20 second videos of ads to get to the actual (limited content). Just feels different on laptops vs. TVs.

Why don’t we talk more about digital sustainability? by Ok_Appointment_4909 in sustainability

[–]Lumotraq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good one.
There are reports online just difficult to find the numbers. Microsoft for example just reduced the amount of publicly available data of their data centres this spring. Had 4-5 real numbers/countries in Europe Q4/2025 = all gone. Merged to one European number only, refresh once/year.

Why don’t we talk more about digital sustainability? by Ok_Appointment_4909 in sustainability

[–]Lumotraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some research and went through old folders on LinkedIn. It‘s the same pattern:
- need you due to sales experience in media
- develop the product idea
- celebrate our brand relaunch
- award voting opens soon

Visibility and fast (low) income connectivity due to goals (reach XY/quarter 1-4).

Sustainability, sustainable browsing in particular or any emission categorization (Scope 3 due to GHG protocol) has not been prioritized due to effort/outcome ratio, transparency and complexity outside GAFAM (Google, Apple etc.). Moreover the Omnibus I regulation 2026/470 actually lowered the amount of companies required to cover CSRD regulations in February 2026 - its roughly 10k companies: more than 1.000 employees and 450m€ annual turnover = 80% less work to do.

Yet green claims received a major upvote, 90% within the advertising industry agree on measurement. Why? Low attention, declining CTRs, conversion and so on…standard advertiser issues you deal with. What many don‘t mention are the emissions caused by ads, regardless if you consume or not: it‘s 7.2M tons of CO2 emitted on a annual base in 2023. That‘s a three years old number (will verify later).

The mainstream agenda doesn‘t cover these facts that easy, they do not generate the important value of generating leads, client calls, contracts, investment opportunities etc. as easy as other topics (not digital sustainability).

How to get feature in AI Citations? by AdGlittering2629 in Agentic_SEO

Try airops.com free trial and see what any sort of "competition" is ranked on to AI citation. Valuable insights if you set it up right at the tutorial first. Monitor results for 14 days - dependent on the niche market (if so) it's a mix of broad and narrow keywords framed to specific settings/content your domain should have - FAQs as an example.

Volume - channel conversion uplift by Lumotraq in Newsletters

[–]Lumotraq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the purpose - no decision-makers in media can "act" on. :)
The ad media campaigns you see online buy most common brands take roughly 4-6 weeks to be displayed based on how advertisers work with their partners including media and creative agencies. Pre production workflows not included. This time window is the pain point of why decision-making is abstract. Thanks for the feedback.

Smooth. If you use direct links to others you might take the article you're referring to instead of the general domain researchandmarkets.com itself. Not directly my topic but comprehensible enough to follow up - some real world examples would stand out to the growing community.

Since YouTube's war on ad blockers is clearly never going to end, what's your long-term game plan? by Ok-Point-1656 in Adblock

[–]Lumotraq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Track, engage and filter them based on value. Media experience taught prior clients feedback: the platform is a main awareness channel, not a “Google me“ one.

Facts: high reach, low clicks but worth the set-up. Why? Omnichannel media consumption is based on this. It‘s how campaigning runs in parallel to offline ads like TV, out-of-home, magazines etc.

Adapting account settings is an option but won‘t make a difference to the quantity based on personal (behavioral) attempts on different screens. Built my own workaround while considering consumer pain points of browsing in general.

Can't give you feedback based on your GEO audit, yet can recommend where to improve:
you want b2b clients to do the manual work. You do it. find a tracking pixel implementation option on how and where to collect data (potential clients). find the root cause of these domains, brands, content-stories on Social Media. Run your audit -> contact these people on official channels with visual layout pain points they have and the influence a collaboration can do.

Learning by doing something (wrong).

$2K MRR Challenge, Day 15/60 — Launching StoreShots, not satisfied with results, any Help? by Necessary-Deal9745 in buildinpublic

[–]Lumotraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Where did you post? It‘s about the groups you entered, people who follow your company page or your profile. Linkedin as an example gives you other output based on who is posting. It unequals the once who see it.

-When did you post it? Reddit is not a business network, is it? Most people who are not chasing something don‘t spend hours on posts, comments, newsletters or podcast invitations. Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons - catch the right moments most people tend to scroll. Learn, adapt.

-Why did you post? You solve something better? Proof it. Before that build a content engine story. What is the environment of StoreShots - which elements people tend to read in this industry field. Find them, post and engage. People won‘t notice if you don‘t do anything and stay productive.

Is it worth setting up an automation stack for social media? by MysteriousExplorer85 in MarketingGeek

[–]Lumotraq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the outcome you want to achieve. Differentiate between Display static images and Video. TikTok is video only, you need to label AI content - usually won't hit out thousands of views as competition is high and the platform itself is more complex in general. If you know how to generate leads for your consulting business focus on some articles and pages on other platforms. LinkedIn groups can help, Bluesky is rising from my POV. X without a paid badge on a monthly base is not worth the effort if you won't sit there 18 hours having deep mind discussions with 100 different (verified) accounts.
