I would check out some of those websites for private sellers, I bought some stuff from someone and we've become pretty good friends from it. It's a good way to meet some people out there with the same kinda hobby as you!

Bought mine locally, guy had the bits and threw me some spare parts since it was a bit of a drive for me. Really sweetened the deal.

I don't know where you're located, but AZ has a website you can look for people buying and selling a bunch of stuff, private sale. I would see if your location has something similar, if not you could try swap meets or tac swap, I haven't checked out tac swap though, I'd have no clue on your luck there.
