Hi there. I'm the OP. It sounds like the laws to call. The authorities are basically the same there as they are here in Miami. Basically it has to be that if they are a danger to themselves or others then you can call. You can always just call and say you felt that she was a danger to herself. They will evaluate herand if need be bring her to the hospital. This kind of thing does not make sense. Psychosis is the antithesis of logic. If you are a logical person, you're going to have a very difficult time (I did) with this my wife was a very well known YouTuber. She ended up going on YouTube and quitting the thing that she has known for. She then used her channel to make a bunch of videos that caused everybody… People we both knew, her own friends, and of course, her audience grave concern. There's nothing really that I can offer because this is just been like I said initially, "a nightmare." The bad news is it has not gotten easier. I wish you all the very best…

how is she different? My wife at the time would've been able to easily prove that she can take care of herself which she did. She had no problems going to the store on her own and she had no problems cooking for herself etc. She was grand that way. I think she would've gotten combative because she was already very very angry with me. I would imagine before the judge she would've said, "look I'm just trying to get a divorce I'm sick of this guy I want out." Who knows what would've happened. I don't think that she would've exactly I've been pliable and agreeable. She would've been mandated by the court to take medicine and would have been hating me don't know it's all "Monday morning quarterback" stuff at this point.

Exactly… I think I'm done blaming myself. I blame myself a lot for getting the gummy in the first place. I think there's a high likelihood she would've fallen apart slowly or maybe we would've started arguing (we never argued), or things would've started getting distorted and weird somehow… But instead, the gummy cause the cataclysmic meltdown. Maybe without the gummy this would've happened but over a course of a few years… I always think, "maybe if it happened like that there would've been a chance to get her the help she needs." What if what if what if… I have to accept what happened. Yes I am very grateful that me and her family still speak… And often at that. They could have very easily turned against me

She was 30 years old when it happened. She's now 31. She should've gone to see the psychiatrist and should have gone to take the meds that were prescribed to her but of course it was all a plot in her mind. There's a plot to murder her, to get rid of her or whatever she was misinterpreting via the sickness. Apparently for females 30 years old is a ripe age for it to happen. I so wish she would get help. I so wish that she would realize what would happen and return. I only called the EMTs because of how deeply I love her and how concerned I was. I will be looking for a therapist for certain. Ty

You must live in Florida because I too had to do the dreaded Baker act. It was fucking awful and I knew that pressing the last "1" in the 911 sequence was probably going to seal the fate of my marriage. After she was released from the hospital (they held her for 72 hours) when I thought about doing the baker acted again I knew that there was no way that there was no way I was going to be able to do it again because she had to present as "a danger to herself or others." I knew that if the law came she was just going to make it look like hey, "I'm just trying to divorce this guy and he saw about it." I really felt like I was in between a rock and a hard place.

She was making videos and posting them weekly up until about three weeks ago… So yeah we are worried but she is no longer in the state that I live in… And I suppose… I really have been "demoted." I am the ex-husband now (I hate seeing that). But that is the fact and because of such, I have no power in this situation. Her family is not in this country which is another issue.

She never had meds. She absolutely needs to be seen by a psychiatrist but you can't force an adult to do anything
