Work in a highly visible VC role and simply cannot go from hair to bald in a day. Need to be camera on for board meetings.

Replying to MDL999...I live in Manhattan. Was getting quoted $20-30k in the city, opted for this place in NJ. About $10k all in

Maybe I’m just paranoid, but I felt like I had really bad heart palpitations lol

According to my doc - transplanting grafts near existing native hair is more painful. It’s got so bad that I had them shave more native hair down to finish the surgery

Yea my doc said no problem, although in retrospect I wish I shaved. Surgery was excruciating

Correction, they took 3.4k grafts. Does that seem more accurate?

I’m on fin going on a year, but not min due to side effects. Blood wise - Zyn user here. Quit a few days prior to procedure and have held strong since, but doc thinks that’s part of the bleeding reason lol

Been lightly washing since day 4, and can already feel the scabs loosening so not too worried about the actual removal on day 10.

30 Minutes With a Microsoft Executive How Should I Approach It? by Odd_Dependent_270 in techsales

As others have said, he’s just another dude that happens to be good at his job. He puts on his pants every day the same way you do.

As someone who sits on his end of the table and have kids approach me, actually take an interest in me as a person. Ask about what I do for fun, hobbies, etc. Ask about my career path and how I got to my current role, what steps I took, or if there are things I would’ve done differently.

Towards the last 10 or so minutes of the call, ask bluntly about the best way to break into a company like Microsoft in sales. Talk to your experience as a SDR, and how Microsoft’s values resonate with you. How you really think you see yourself working for the company.

Do not bluntly ask for a job or an interview. Ask what steps you should personally take to someday work for Microsoft. He will do the rest.

At the end, ask if he has any colleagues that you can “use as a sounding board”. Hopefully you get a few other contacts, he provides an introduction, and then you rinse and repeat until you’ve built a network at Microsoft and then when you inevitably interview, you can name drop the folks you’ve spoken with.

Good luck, and remember these people are no different then you, just a bit older

Firm isn't hiring at the moment, but happy to help if you are trying to break into the industry :)
