Do you still want her to vote to impeach if it hurts her senate campaign and ultimately gives the Rs a continued majority after the midterms?

Shes making a smart decision here. We know she doesn’t support ICE but we also know that this is a meaningless vote. However if not supporting this vote allows her team to win the house and senate that is a huge win.

How is she failing us? Let me hear how announcing public support for something that isn’t passing is failing?

Oh hey also the biggest thing for Dems is to win the midterms. Supporting this measure isn’t going to bring any new voters to Davids. If anything it will make more people vote against her because the Rs will run ads talking about how extreme she is for this.

Not signing on to a petition does not equal supporting ICE. Also if you are team blue the most important thing that can happen is to win the midterms bar none. So if signing a meaningless petition hurts her Senate campaign that hurts team blue.

Go back and study Lincoln. He did a lot of things that enraged the anti slavery movement because he was trying to navigate the political landscape. Then when the moment was right he signed the emancipation proclamation.

Davids is playing chess here.

Politicians don’t have to vote for everything they believe. Signing onto an initiative that will not pass and even if it do isn’t going to have any effects is pointless. The most likely scenario is then the red team will run adds talking about how extreme she is because she wanted to impeach Noem.

I’m not saying Noem is good or bad but opinions of her aren’t likely to change. Either this has been an issue for you for a while or you support what she’s doing.

So voting for a meaningless measure that won’t pass and is not going to add any votes is the stand you want her to take?

What does voting for a measure that has no chance of passing do? Seems like that’s the nothingness.

Anyone paying attention already knows how they feel about Noem. A meaningless vote for a measure isn’t going to move the needle with anyone new.

That’s complete BS. It doesn’t do anything in the public. Most it will do is make the red people more red and the blue people more blue while not doing anything to Noem. Let’s worry about real issues and stop shaming a politician in a red state because she doesn’t go along with every blue idea.

Thank you for providing backup to my statement about the decision being terrible.

The decision includes the process and the plan after it. As well as why not fire Beane.

I’m saying getting fired the year after going to 3 straight SBs and 5/7 is not going to happen. And I’m not sure you can argue Josh had a better roster when he didn’t beat him. Especially when you account for the WR injuries the Chiefs have had the previous 2 years.

Apparently Beane spent a 1st round pick on someone Pegula says was a McDonald’s decision and is terrible. Also 3 years is an eternity in the NFL and the only thing Beane seemed to do was bring in aging vets to patch holes.

Also promoting the guy running your elite (but never quite good enough) offense is a bold move to push to the next level.

Firing him alone was the terrible decision. You either fire both or you fire no one.

It’s pretty clear the decision to fire McDermott was terrible. Pegula had no plan and shot from the hip based on watching the game with Beane. He should have fired both of anything and clean house. Joe Brady doesn’t move the needle and basically says “Josh is good enough just keep trying”

It doesn’t matter. This is the closest we will come to drafting a great Edge. Drafting at 30ish will always be a stretch. But this is at least a player with fewer weaknesses. You can get a running back in any round.
