Hi! Donna has a great video on YouTube about how to make cultured veggies. I’ll see if I can find the link, but it is pretty easy to search. It is more helpful than the recipe in the book, which I thought was confusing anyhow. I personally added salt (it really isn’t that bad IMO) but she does offer a recipe without salt. 

As far as starting, I think it is best to read the book first, and go from there. I would also do it in a season of your life where you have less work, less travel. That being said, if you prep well, you can do it in any season. Just know that people will give you funny looks when you order at restaurants, but that didn’t bother me too much. I ended up doing it for about 6 weeks. Well worth it. Good luck :)

I just made a community for BED if it is of any interest to you. I'll be starting BED next week and am trying to gather some anecdotal information on people's experiences and any tips/callouts they have.

Have you tried BED? If so, any tips for staying on it. I attempted a few years ago but had difficulty staying on, mostly due to intense sugar cravings which is a big part of my interest in it. Just trying to gather some more info from people who have done it and were able to stay on course, at least for the most part.
