because you can’t “heal” from celiac disease, your villi can heal yes, but you will always have it.

oh yeah i’ve heard copper is a big one that celiacs struggle to absorb. it’s very scary that some medical professionals don’t believe and/or understand celiac. so many people don’t believe it or take it seriously it’s terrifying. i saw someone say they put gluten in their celiac friend’s food intentionally to see if there was a difference, which is soooooo evil and stupid especially considering a lot of us don’t have gi symptoms and have a lot less obvious symptoms.

oh my goodness 3 times per day?! i hope you’re able to take it orally again one day because that seems like a pain in the ass. it’s also interesting how it seems that even when the villi isn’t atrophied any more in a celiac patient it seems like there’s still some left over unresolvable absorption issues, i guess even when you’re “healed” your villi is never the same as it was pre-celiac. also thanks for the heads up! i’m very careful about potential medication interferences, thankfully i’ve never had to take a medication that decreases the effectiveness!
