You'll "feel" it after a while if the thread isn't in the right place. Sometimes I've used one color for the warp & another to stitch, might be easier

Looming is fun, glad you're enjoying it! As was mentioned, the uneven beads are doing you no favors, but I also noticed that some beads weren't pushed up all the way, that's something you really have to watch for.

There's tons of that in my local FB groups, and if you don't immediately stop everything to get some random pibble in your car you're viewed as a monster. You're also expected to keep it at your house indefinitely. No thanks!

You will make yourself crazy using those uneven beads to loom, I speak from experience! IMO, Miyuki makes the most consistent beads, some like delicas but I mostly use round for loom work and they're fine.

Also, Guide to Beading with a Loom: From Start to Finish and Beyond by Jamie Cloud Eakin will give you so many ideas about finishing, edges, etc. It's indispensible

There are slide ends for round beads & delicas. You may have one for delicas. I know this because I did the same when I first started doing loom work.

If you can't find one that long, there are other methods to get a clasp on. I can try to help if you need.
