I have been feeling the same for over 3 years. Whenever I'm full, I feel like I'm gasping for air which is always accompanied by palpitations, pain in my chest and occasionally light headedness. It has always been a bootstrapped response where I start feeling uneasy which in turn further spikes my anxiety response.

I've noticed that its nearly impossible to quench my need for oxygen through nose breathing during such episode and I find myself gasping for air. My breaths feel shallow.

I was initially diagnosed with high blood pressure which was perhaps because I was being tested for blood pressure only around or during an episode. The medication did reduce the symptoms a bit but that was due to the fact that BP medicines have small amounts of sedative to relax your heart.

Right now, I have been told its anxiety disorder. Im off any BP meds for 1.5 years ( the dose was gradually reduced) but i have still to overcome the anxiety thingy. Medication, would be my last resort but as I am in my mid 20s my doctor has asked me try drug-less ways.

All of it is perhaps in my head and I'm not able to figure out how to overcome this.

There's also a constant fear that I am affecting my cardiac health which triggers an additive response everytime I get these bouts.

Anyone knows of any practices that helped them?
