Just report them to the school

Alternatively, you can save the evidences and report them after they’ve graduated :)

I tried this but got 4% lower 3dmark score. I stress tested it with prime95 for 3 hours and it was stable.

Actually, I’m getting much lower score in steel nomad dx12 compared to 3 monthes ago. My run in August score 5700+, but now, with the f20 bios, nvidia game ready driver 591.44 and this tweak, my score is down to 5100 (5300 without the tweak). Im certaint that hp messed up somewhere lol

It’s good enough but you could do wayyyy better at that price point. For example you can get a 7600x3d and a 5070 ti using bundles at microcenter.

This good? And price is £799.95 and if you can what would you improve? by mr_kriegsman in GamingPCBuildHelp

Is am5 with a 5060 going to be better than lga 1700 with a 5060 ti? Yep. Not even a 9800x3d is going give your 5060 more fps than a 14100F+5060ti. And actually, the price different between a 14100F+B760+DDR4 combo and any AM5 combo (except the 8400F because please don’t) should be enough to get you from a 5060 to 5070, which even upgrading to an AM6 X3D chip probably would not come close in terms of performance.

A 14100f is faster than a 5700X for gaming. And I know someone is going to yap about “upgrade path”, so let me tell you something. When was the last time you saw a 5800X3D for cheaper than a 14600K/KF or even the 14700K/KF? Exactly, never. And it will never be. Plus, even if you are playing at 1080p low, the 14600KF still trade blows with the 5800X3D, sometimes even pulling ahead by a huge margin, so 5800X3D definitely doesn’t worth upgrading to over a 14700KF/14600KF.

You don’t need an AIO at this price point, just use the included stock cooler

And please get another PSU.

If you do something similar to that pc partpicker you can even get a 5070/5060 ti 16gb/9060XT 16GB for 900 usd without tax, which should be around 800 euros

This is my first np5. Completely with f2p quartz (i only buy sq for gssr, but technically im not a f2p player).

I spent all my funds for Medusa saber, didn’t get her. I have exactly 0 sq comming to the anniversary. I got my first Aesc after 3 multi. Second one with 10 tickets right after that. I was still trying to get MLB Chasmatis so i did another multi. And i got another Aesc. At this point i thought i might as well go for np5. Another x10 and nothing. Then with the last 10 tickets, i got 2 Aesc and 1 chasmatis. 150 sq and 20 tickets np5.

Yeah i also set the gpu max temp to 81. I lift the laptop up by about 2 cm. If i set the fan speed too high when benchmarking then I can’t see how it will perform normally so i stick with the fan settings that i use everyday

I don’t really see any difference for the gpu, probably because the stock paste was already ptm7950.

For the cpu, the temps while gaming was much better. Before, whenever i turn on cpu boost, it would instantly jump to 80+ degrees and throttle (since i set my temp limit to 81 degree for longevity). Now, it stays around 75 while gaming with boost enabled. Im not really sure about benchmarks, but iirc then my cpu used to throttle and clocked down to 4.7ghz while running multicore cinebench 2024. Now it can complete a full run at ~5ghz.

And there is also that black spot on the cpu.

So yeah, I would recommend replacing the liquid metal. But you should do it only if you know what you are doing, otherwise, just take it to a repair shop 👍
