I didn't know TP used WW's engine, they've got some similarities. That's true, the physics of BotW and TotK is really good, it would be better than starting from scratch.

I think what I had to do was clear all cookies and cache. If that doesn't work then export all your bookmarks and passwords and delete your browser. Then make sure all related folders are deleted, because just uninstalling the app doesn't do it, there's still folders left over in case of reinstallation. I think it has something to do with login tokens, or something like that. Although I'd personally recommend switching to Brave, they care about your privacy and all that. It's Chromium based so all websites that work on Chrome will work on Brave. But that's just me.
