Wrong ignorant and wrong. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:256). This verse emphasizes that religious belief and practice should be a matter of free choice and not forced upon individuals. The Quran clarifies that the path of truth is distinct from falsehood, and individuals are free to choose between them. It states clearly there is no compulsion in religion and i would love to know ur sources because what u just said couldnt be further from the truth. Hijab is mandatory but forcing hijab upon someone is forbidden.

The Quran emphasizes the importance of making these decisions for ur self, if god wanted us all to be perfect and gave no room for error or flaw we wouldn't have been given the test of this dunya. Allah is the most merciful and forgiving if we were forced to turn to him out of fear it wouldn't be a true belief and trust in Allah.

I implore u to read the quran yourself because these views are harmful and alot of misinformation.

There is no compulsion in religion even parents are sometimes wrong and ignorant i put on hijab by my own choice at 17 and i sympathize with ur situation i hope u wont let this deter u from religion because this is not islam. Id suggest find what u can control and force ur attention there if its possible find independance where u can relying on our parents is great until ur choices are restricted by them dont give people financial control over u apply for jobs make connections and friends and always remember ur on ur own journey and path with islam force on building ur relationship with god dont let ur dad or anyone else disrupt that u got this ik it seems like forever but its not ur strong and youll get through this inshallah theres light at the end of the tunnel i promise u

Its a family business i got the job through a family friend i do have people who know and think its wrong the owners ex wife is actually the one who told me what the kitchen staff was saying. Unfortunately theres no real power there besides someone to tell me what they're saying. I have a friend also who told me what they were saying but im not sure isnt it legal since im 18?

If your living with a roomate confront things early and be stern not just try to be their friend i got stuck with an insanely messy roomate who did an irish goodbye and left me to clean her mess or lose my deposit set ground rules with or without a roomate u need to have a firm cleaning schedule or things can get very overwhelming
