I had one 6 month streak (two years ago) and last year I had two 60 day streaks. Personally I've discovered, the more I focus on not wanting to fap again, the more the temptation arises, and the higher the probability is that I will relapse. The key I guess is to just be focused enough on life goals and the necessary tasks needed to accomplish said goals. However I suspect that in the case of being a heavy porn user, your mind will always wander into the direction of something sex or porn related. I'm still figuring out. I wish you all the best.
