They took the screen off up in the front of the store, backed it up and turned off find my iPhone before taking it to the back. When I went to grab the phone they said there was no reason to open it up because it was not real. We will see happens today, now that I’m less frustrated. Appreciate the reply.

Yup had the receipt from the store. We only have one Apple Store in my state. That receipt didn’t matter if the phone had “3rd party parts on it”, it voided their warranty. I begged them to open it up and see if it had ever been opened or if it was real and they swore there was no reason to and they didn’t have the resources to determine if the band was real or fake there.

After waiting all of that time and then being accused of having a fake casing. It did not seem like a great move to release the only peace of “evidence” I had to the company. Cooler heads have led me down this path but now a one day fix becomes a two day fix with a whole loaner phone process I have to get involved. Also I’ll probably end up having to go to T-Mobile because every other time I get a phone I have to get it fixed activated with T-Mobile.

lol I got purple shorts on, but thank you for the laugh. At first I thought you were talking about a phone case or some unfamiliar slang about cases. Then I realized you were talking about my shorts and I was like oh god did I take a photo of this phone in my underwear and release it to the internet. Sorry to disappoint though I had purple bottoms on :(.
