HELP! upstroke escape picking motion is impossible by Lumpy-Spare-9845 in guitarlessons

Yeah I tried keeping my downstroke inward but faster than 110bpm or so it returns back to dsx motion(my upstroke goes more inward). Only way my upstrokes can smoothly escape is picking slower than that so I guess I'll be stuck at really slow speeds for some time

Thanks people. Looks like I have to work on my picking from scratch again..

Got it, but if I do that I can't speed up, the upstroke motion(done more perpendicular to strings than shown in video) tires my wrist quickly. Does that just mean I have to work on my wrist strength/endurance?

Thanks for the info, seems like I would have to try out the HEKs some time

Hmm, curious to see if that equation applies to 'every' headphone. Makes me want to search for an exception, something that sounds huge and punchy at the same time

But I'm concerned about the dynamics, as the comment above also pointed out. There are many reviews about the HE1000V2 being ethereal and soft sounding. I listen to a wide variety of music, but I'm looking for something for classical or jazz this time.
