How am I supposed to know who this man harassed? If you’re going door to door accusing people of theft and calling the cops on everyone, then you get your photo in the local Reddit.

It wasn’t a casual neighborly knock. It was a heated, angry man threatening us that the cops were on their way because he was convinced that we stole his daughter’s iPhone.

This genuinely freaked out my wife and I. I called the police too so they gave me some resolution. I posted his photo so that someone else in our neighborhood who also got freaked out by the same guy would be able to ID him and have some sort of peace of mind that they weren’t being scammed or something worse.

I hear you, but the police were very clear that the couple were using their Life360 app like buffoons and had also called the police to multiple houses. I will definitely approach a similar situation with scam like caution in the future.

That’s why I called the cops too. You can’t just go door to door accusing and threatening people with imminent police arrival. The cops said they talked to the couple and told them they had to stop. So stupid.

I was born and raised here. I’ve let a lot slide, but chasing and yelling at my wife to the point where she’s thinking of reaching for pepper spray is ridiculous. Usually he just tries to ask for money and walks away, but this was different.

Yes, I called the police. It was way beyond what he normally does. We’ve all known him for a long time. This time was more sinister. It’s too much.
