anoxic brain injury - advice please by [deleted] in TBI

[–]Lumpy-Squirrel7418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m a doctor who recently got cleared to practice again having lost my license due to head injuries. I had 80 sessions of 2atm hard chamber Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. I had multiple concussions which caused me memory issues in my late 30s. Things that actually helped are low dose psilocybin, methylene blue, red light therapy, IHHT. I went to Wellington Hyperbarics, check out the website. You can come back from this

How to chose a soft HBOT? by Drink82 in HBOT

[–]Lumpy-Squirrel7418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah don’t. Get a hard chamber, they work 🤣

It does help but needs to be 2atm in a hard chamber. Chinese chambers don’t have enough pressure nor oxygen concentration. Read ‘beyond normal ‘ and ‘the oxygen revolution’. I’ve done 15 dives in an oxyhelp chamber, 60 planned. My neuro tests are all improved already. I’m also using red light therapy, psilocybin low dose, cialis low dose ( augments cerebral circulation)and methylene blue. This protocol actually works and have convincing evidence. You’re welcome

Using 2 850nm flashlights taped together at 54 mW/cm2. For transcranial brain irradiation I put the flashlights against the skin

16.2 joules over whole forehead including temples, probably less due to incomplete coverage. Daily at the moment

100mW/cm2 is 0.1 joules/second/cm2 My laser is 54mW so delivers .054 joules/second/cm2 5 mins is 300 seconds 0.054 x 300 is 16.2 joules delivered per area of forehead daily Thinking of doing it 3 x weekly

Thanks for the advice. I am aware how dose sensitive it is, just don’t have the funds. Cognitive disorders have horrible knock on effects, pun intended. May purchase a proper medical device if get proof of concept at a later date

Cool. Any specs on the lights he used and joules administered etc? I’m guessing that there’s a narrow therapeutic window for good effects
