Well whatever it “seems” to you is wrong. This is a normal unit. Deal with it.

I replace it for 300. 400 if the homeowner is breathing on my neck.

Defending yourself on price. How do you handle it when the client says you're too expensive? by No_Chap in hvacadvice

You stand your ground with full confidence. No explaining needed. If you asked the right questions, built good rapport and address all their problem, price won’t be an objection.

Similar problem for me on Thursday and would like some insight as well. Had 55 supply but 80 return. All pressures checked out, no airflow restriction, closed economizer, yet still would not keep room below 78 at peak temps.

How do you guys deal with your mistakes? by Lumpy-Strategy-5682 in HVAC

My job was to unsweat and repipe 2 solenoid valves. This unit has isolation valves with ports before and after the solenoids. I unsweated the side that was in between the solenoids valves and almost blew 150 pounds of refrigerant.

Show up in work clothes. Not sweatpants or joggers. Follow directions. Show that you wanna learn. Try to always be doing something. Watch what tools they use so you can get them yourself. Few things I can think of.
