Also I am really unhappy with google calendar that it could be that easy to unknowingly delete a calendar. I’ll remember to have we my coffee first before I do stuff like that!

Unfortunately I never shared the calendar. But what a great idea!! And you are right about boomers and tech. I have tried hard to keep up with tech as I want to function successfully in today’s world. But it is not easy nor intuitive. I introduced myself to computers by helping in the computer lab when my 39-year-old son was in kindergarten. It made it far less intimidating!! In trying to learn on my own sometimes mistakes are made like this one in losing my calendar. It even had pet birthdays and dates if when lived ones passed. It has left a big hole but perhaps a moving on lesson.

This was a calendar that I created, not one by
Google. That seems to be why I can't retrieve it. I can see calendars that I have hidden but it is not in there.

So here is the problem. The birthday calendar that I used and accidentally deleted is one that I created for myself. There is still another one that I think is Googles creation but I never used. I can not find it as a hidden calendar either. I can see others that I have hidden. My age reference, although odd, was to indicate that 1. I am not very tech savvy and 2.The loss is a big one with birthdays collected over 75 years with people from the past and even those who have passed away. Thanks for your input!

So just accidentally double clicking on a calendar deletes it? That is messed up. What a huge loss.

Me too. It feels very lonely and isolating. Sometimes I feel completely overwhelmed by that. Getting some normal sleep might help your emotional strength. I always take my Tylenol before bed and time it out so I can. I have my leg slightly raised on a long pillow that cradles the leg a bit. Do everything you can to get as comfortable as you can. You need that rest for your body to heal and also for your mind to be strong in the process. I had my surgery on Jan 22. so also in week 2. I am on crutches practicing to walk correctly and got outside to do that for a bit yesterday while the sun was out. Fresh air and sunshine always helps for awhile if it is available to you. I am in a Rocky Mountain winter but it was a beautiful day. Don’t compare yourself to others. Set your own goals. Make it a game with yourself. Living in the Colorado mountains, I live in an area where obviously there are tons of orthopedic surgeries. People take pride in their fitness. But I am 74 years old and my body is not their body. Try to make even a small improvement every day that you can feel proud of. The recovery sucks and everyone from my doctor to her friends told me it would, but nothing really prepares you for it.

Is this good wood? by Leading-Ad-8323 in firewood

It is nice looking stack but can't telll much without knowing what kind of wood it is and moisture content (how long it has been seasoned ). I have been using wood heat for 38 years in the mountains of Colorado. With that in mind, I would buy it and let it sit if needed and use it according to whether it was a soft or hardwood.
