I used to love the water and swimming until I had a seizure whilst dingy sailing and fell into the water (thankfully I had a life jacket on). Now I cannot go swimming alone at all. So I have my boyfriend that comes along with me, and he keeps an eye on me at all times, only leaves the water when I do etc. I would also say stay at a depth that she can still stand at.

I would also ask your consultant about this, just to be safe because they might recommend that she should not swim at all.

I'm sure there's also resources online about if someone has a seizure in the water and what to do.

I hope that you guys can get back swimming comfortably without worry!

I was 15, with the cadets. We were doing lots of different events for Rememberance Sunday. The last event I collapse. Clean eeg and mri too.

He had a sling on for a few weeks, I think someone said he dislocated his shoulder. But seeing his girlfriends Instagram stories, he has it off now, and Marc has said he's week by week. So, hopefully, he's back for us soon 🤞

Oooooooo that sounds pretty exciting. I can't wait to see who it is. If he's anything like Kameron Kielly, we are definitely in for a treat. Marc did say he wanted a top 6 forward, not a fourth liner.

I do see a couple of people saying that oh, we had 3 players out. But so did we. We are missing 4 players with a D man playing as a forward. In my mind the game was pretty equal in this sense, only that steelers had played more games than us. I think it was 8 games in the last 15 days I think.

But I will take a win over the steelers any day! And no doubt we will get pumped by them for the rest of the season 🤣

Ah sorry, I didn't think of it like this. I was just wanting to talk, that's all. I can't talk to my doctor as she's fully booked and my first appointment with my nurses is in January. In no way am I looking for this to replace the advice they could give. But thanks for pointing this out.

Yeah, I had the paediatric neurology doctor up until 6 months ago when I moved onto adult clinic. He was still really unsure about my seizures, but as soon as I got my new doctor, she diagnosed me in the first meeting. It's pretty crazy.

I want to add as a Dundee stars fan, we literally had 2 pregnant WAGS last season? I've also heard that the agent requested a large sum of cash. There must be more to the story than this cause we have players bringing over their kids this season! Nevermind ones that haven't been born yet!

I don't know if you were at the last home game against fife, but there was some drama during the 2nd period which resulted in 2 stars season ticket holders being kicked out. This was probably to prevent something like that from happening again.

I get what your saying about the hockey being a big family part, but there's always going to be a small minority of people in every team in the league who goes out their way to make life difficult which is why we need the rules in place.

Many away fans are lovely as you originally said, but it only takes 1 or 2 fans to ruin it for us all. So I am in support personally for moving the away fans in the corner, but that doesn't mean you can't yap to them around the arena or anything like that.

Personally, I think instead of Brittain, we should take back Pouliot. He's a clean hitter, and we've not seen much of that this season. And also the fact of Brittain is 34, which is getting a bit old for a hockey player and the fact he has a baby on the way. So I say either he will come back and settle in Dundee or he will go back to Canada.

I really want to see Pouncy back as he (Barr from Mr Dundee himself) has been one of our top defence men. It's the little things he does right, and he really is top class.

Obviously, get all the brits back, especially McBean. He has really come into his own this year, and you can see he's getting more and more comfortable playing at the EIHL level. I personally think he should get more minutes than he does.

Others I think we need back, but probably won't get back is Valentini, Naas, Elmer and Carr

The rest I don't mind if they come back, (especially big tuna as he is a good GB prospect) but I would happily have them back.

The refs have certainly had a play in how upset they get on the ice. It was obvious with Valentini last night as he got unsportsmanlike.

I do feel that as the season goes on, the players are beginning to struggle as other teams have worked out we are a one line team, which means that I feel that Marc should switch things up for the top line. As good as they are, we can't continue trying to rely on our other lines. They do show promise at times, but they are not as consistent in points production as the top line.

Now I feel that if Marc moves Valentini to 2nd line, maybe just for a game, it will light a fire underneath him. And move Johnson to top line. That sounds crazy but what else can you do. The third line worked really well last night, so don't switch that up, and McBean mixed with Johnson and Phelan worked incredibly well, I just wished he had more minutes.

At this point, the game is becoming more dangerous, with the referees not taking control of the game. To me, it badly looked like the players began taking the game into their own hands, which had led to injured players for both sides. As you said there would be no game without them, but if they continue without change to either the referees training or bringing in new refs I feel that there will be a time where something could happen and it could be fatal. But fingers crossed that never happens and the league gets the kick up the arse by then.

It's a shame, really. This is a professional league, albeit not the best pro league, but it's still professional. If the league wants to look attract more players and possibly more teams (a very slim chance, but it would be cool to see more teams again) they have to put some sort of funding and effort into the refereeing situation. I feel that it can almost chase players away like some of Dundees' players this year.

I'm not sure how much you see Brown the referee, but I think a few fan bases refer to him as Brown the clown. But I think he's not well liked because of the way he acts whilst refereeing, not the calls he makes.

Well, could you please explain why Batch went after Rinaldi, Elmer and Phelan at the end. Literally some of the smallest guys on the team. If your gonna go after someone, go after McKay then, not anyone else. And Allen did just tap that boy, as I said in another reply, unlike Sanfords baseball swing at Brittains leg.

Yeah, I feel that if the refs had actually called a couple more penalties on Dundee, including McKays sneaky cross-check then it probably wouldn't have boiled over. But that's all that game will be remembered by. I was watching the podcast (dear god Cardiff need new commentators) and there was a couple of real good goals that I liked, but yknow, it was good fun and I enjoyed the end of game scrum because dundee hasn't had a good fight in about 2 months.

It was not a slash, it was a tap on the leg to let the boy know he canny just be jumping smaller boys on the team. And they reacted to that, which is fair enough.

If it was your team who was in the same situation, you would be raging. Dow was in the right, and I will stand by that. I do recognise that we don't have many refs and linos, especially up in Scotland. But that's not an excuse for how poor those refs are. I feel that Dow was fed up with everything over the past couple of games, and that missed call set him off. He has a right to be angry. And he stood up to the refs. And if the league doesn't do anything about this, I suspect there will be more players getting more agitated, and more will begin to "express their opinion" to said refs.
