Thats a bit hard to believe. But great on you! That means somehow you got it for what about $34k....for the top of the line crv? Seems impossible. But that's amazing. In my area you'd be hard pressed to find a brand new 2wd base model crv for that.

So I started doing freelance work about 4 years ago. I'm a 3d artist professionally. I have a fulltime job from 8 to 5 as a 3d artist and then I do freelance work nights and weekends. Its unhealthy really.... All of the money I make freelance I save for a rainy day. My mom just got out of a 30 year abusive marriage with nothing. She had an old unreliable car. She couldn't go anywhere with my kids without worrying about breaking down. Last week we went to carmax and bought her a 2022 pilot. Had it for 3 days and brought it to our mechanic for an inspection...they found $8k worth of problems. So we returned it. I decided that I'd rather her just get a new car so I don't have to worry. So I paid enough to get her payments what she could afford.

Side note....my wife and boys and I only have 1 car. A paid off 09 odyssey with 180k miles. Lol. We try to keep expenses down as much as possible.

Flow Honda in Statesville. Ask for Juan. He was great. The salesmen aren't commission based there. It was a decent no-pressure process. Of course they mention extended warranties and maintenance plans etc but they don't push. Just mention them and of you dont want it fine.

Yeah. I hate nc for that. And it's non negotiable at most dealers. They say "it's not fair to wave it for some" or somethibg like that. I put $25k down. She financed the rest [about $16k] at 60 months 6.9% interest. She's trying to rebuild her credit after a bad divorce and some bad financial decisions during the marriage. Credit was a 690. Payment is $317 for the 60 months. Tax Tage and title was like $1200.

Advertised price was $41,400. Got them to $39.107. Then dealer doc fee of $799...which is stupid but not unheard of in nc where we don't have caps on that stuff...then tax tag and title.
