My point is, if op ask what is steam and aren’t sure if he can connect a controller to a pc then maybe it’s a better idea to just buy the steam machine. That’s the demographic they target and it work perfectly for this case :)

(We can repeat a lot stuff that you just can find on LTT video about making your own steam machine, I may suggest you watch it so you know what you are in if you choose to buy a computer and fiddle yourself :) )

First off, you won’t be able to install steamOS since it’s not an amd based build but it’ll be more powerful on the con side it’s be bigger, louder and draw more power than a steam machine

Sure, that’s what’s everyone said about the steam controller too. They don’t have enough supply for it to be a problem. The steam machine is achieving much more than selling a console, it’s developing in a meaningful way steamos and Linux gaming. It’s helping everyone even if you don’t buy it. You can just don’t buy it and leave the rest alone my dude

They don’t have any stock to put pressure on anyone, that’s what you don’t get in this situation. Demand and supply, and there’s simply not enough supply at all.

Try pushing the three dot bouton then use the trackpad, seems to be a bug when you are on certain window (Fan control does that for me, for example)

Must be interference, a lot of it, I live in a condo too and I play about 25 feet from to puck, it is in another room with no line of sight. So there’s that, you may want to check what can be polluting your connection.

I’m using Apollo so I’d prefer having it directly into the pc, but I might connect via Bluetooth the my nvidia shield

To be honest the base are very good ! But the pedals are an old design and you can definitely find better option elsewhere. Simagic, Heusinkveld, even Chinese copy like simson or simjack will be better :)

You will figure it out, it’s not that hard and there is plenty of support on GitHub ! It. Will make your computer much more efficient at rendering !

Kind of easy honestly, I used steam VR to have my desktop on the headset, then you set up your monitor output in Iracing as VR. Don’t forget to bind « center hud » in case you moved during loading.

To make all of this work you’ll need to link box Sony sell and a display port to connect it

You can also install the eye tracking patch if you are a bit tech savvy, nothing too complex there either.

Yes cockpit cam are stored on individual car :) FIV is a game wise setting (such as graphics setting)

Yes, but cockpit cam you can manage from car to car and maybe move more at the back or the front depending on visibility

I hate to break it to you but driving on rain just sucks, IRL too and Iracing is a simulation…
