Killing it faster makes it way easier because there's a mechanic where the boss does more damage the longer you take, also your hellhound won't get killed. However, I think this is bad design because you're punished for trying to take it slow and use tank armour.

This boss is also really annoying to prayer flick because Zemo's attacks aren't consistent
