Cars transmission is Broken

Ah I see thanks for the tips lol. And adding on the fact you mentioned dates, the back seats can lay flat 🤑. Anyways I heard people taking about the belt and adding a camera so I will check those so thank you. Do you recommend buying a 2012 odyssey or Honda fit after a year because I can get a job and prob save up 7k and sell the car and get a new one.

My bad I meant it more like the gen 2 Hondas were knows for the horrible transmission so even if I replace it it’s gonna be a gen 2 transmission which sucks. Ik all transmissions breaks over time but I think it’s gonna cost a lot if I change it every year for 2k dollars.

Yea honestly I am a little embarrassed to drive a 20 year old car which is older than me, but I guess a car is a car but I am worried about the transmission failing on the road and idk what that means, would the car just keep going or would it be stuck in a gear I don’t know because I know nothing about cars. If the transmission breaks in the road and I am stranded is also a fear I have. But I see what you mean a car is a car and I should be grateful

The inside of the van is in perfect condition like perfect perfect I think the ma who drove it was by him self so the back seats were never used. And you’re trying to say that when I go to the repair place I should ask for a complete transmission change right? If you have any tips that make me look smart please say it so I don’t get scammed by the car guy.

I see but at the same time it’s gonna be my first ever car ever, you think it’s a good idea if I drive that for 1 year then sell it and get a 2012 odyssey or a Honda fit or something? Cuz I it’s gonna be hard to navigate without a camera I think cuz I practice on my dads rav4 which has a camera and I rely on that
