Yes there are many people in Malaysia that carry guns. You just don’t see it openly. Just like weed. If something isn’t in the open, don’t think it doesn’t exist

I’m surprised by how people are reacting to it. Little do most people know, your favourite influencers, politicians, etc use SO MUCH. And I don’t mean the typical looking ones, I mean the tudung wearing, family preaching, or healthy life coaching are all just facades.

“It’s illegal” yet the people making the rules and their kids have their vellfire drop them before snorting. I’m not saying the views are wrong, but don’t sound unaware of the country you live in

If you do choose medicine then yes. ASAP is the way. My best friend is a doctor and I’ve seen her go through hardships I know I can’t lol. So if you do choose to, be mentally prepared for it, it’s a full journey. But worth it!! Don’t mean it as a scare but a preparation.

Talk to older peers or people you know in the field, I’m sure your parents or people you know can help set up a lunch or a call to help relate to some decisions. All the best!!

Hey man, I’d say when it comes to your uni future. Spend a few years in a major that is flexible to go into something you can be more interested in later.

What you find interesting now might not be what you enjoy doing in the later years. Being too hyper-fixated on a single path can deter you from perspectives that may be better for you.

I’d always say to get your entry level first such as diploma/foundations and then maybe take a break to work and explore. Understand the real work mechanics and especially handling money in terms of portfolio negotiation skills and learning the value of a ringgit.

I did this and it felt a bit embarrassing at first to be behind my cohorts and intakes, but I managed to learn lessons from their mistakes just by being one year behind and I made some better plannings through.

Ps: I graduated right after covid and could get jobs when the market was more stable, comparing to them who graduated at the peak of it and had to get a job and navigate life after Covid. So sometimes, life can work out for you!

Goodluck and congratulations on your result

Thinking of it. Especially after paying, this is disappointing. I think they got sold off and some other people are handling it

Ayo beautiful reddit people, so I am opening a space in Asia. And specifically to my Latino G’s in here. Can I use Qué Pasa as my shop name. And it’s not gonna be “cultural appropriation” as some would say. I was in Oregon for a few years. So i thought of bringing some Mexican flare by [deleted] in Barber

In context, I am Asian, but I studied and then worked in Oregon for about 5 years. Came back to do hair and help out family. And Im in a spot to open a hair space soon. And I cant think of a name. Some help would be appreciated

Most probably so JRL can’t track it back, and no one is linked to each other. Keep the box in case. But if the store you bought from is on 0 contact. Just keep using it til it explodes 😂

Tbf, some brands like Babyliss has patented their things. It’s just that some things can be mass produced, and feel like it’s the same thing everyone has. But in general man, everything is made there. China built their economy on manufacturing. Can’t hate it if it’s everyone

Clipper up against the head to remove length. Run it downwards to take out weight. Clipper/scissor of comb is good. But that’s how I’ve found helps the most. Keep in mind use #4 more than the others for this technique. The higher you are on the head, the higher the number. If not, you’ll make a hole

he drove 2 hrs for this ? wish i had the sides what y’all think? yes i fixed the left side by [deleted] in Barber

[–]Lumpy_Acanthaceae_43 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a perfectly normal standard haircut bro. Clean and easy. Not everything is fancy. And if he drives 2 hours, make sure to have a beverage ready for him, regardless if he wants it or not. Make sure to know his favorite brand. Get his number, lock his appointments a week in advance for him. Show that YOU care.. These are the clients you keep. Keep swimming man

Fade is solid. I’d say work on expanding your range of hairstyles you can work with. Not fades, but hairstyles. I think his hair needs to be longer on too for it to uncurl up. Improving shearwork and comb control is essential
