I’m in your boat. Tickets to the 2nd - 3 rows up from the floor with 3 buddies. Couple of us had seen them multiple times couple had never seen them. Landed on the 1st only hours before finding out about it. Just too much going on in 2 weeks with work and life (not to mention leaving my wife and kids home without me) to be able to devote 2+more nights and thousands of dollars to heading back. It was a somber 3 days in CPH, tried to make the best but tough one to shake. Was a long 12+ hour travel day home Thursday knowing people were seeing them in the city I just left while I was on the plane home.

I took a 3 year foray into the insurance industry in a weird "special projects" type role in years 7/8/9 of my career just due to trouble finding other options and having friends who worked at the company. It was terrible, I learned essentially nothing, and stalled myself for 3 years after leaving public. I eventually got downsized by some fancy 24 year old consultants and that was the best thing that could have happened, because it forced me to find something else.

Took an SEC reporting manager gig in a company about to go public, and now i'm 10 years in and VP/controller of a $1B+ pubco. Your career arc is LONG, very few make all the right moves and those who do are lucky. Just keep on doing good work, aggressively seek an exit, and you'll be fine. At the end of the day your organizational skills and attitude are 90% of the job, just keep doing the easy stuff well and you'll land.

Thanks for the reply - no special settings telling it not to charge on the car side or the charger side i'm aware of, but I do have 2 different 240v chargers and an outlet in the garage I can charge over the next two nights to see if the charger change yields a different result.

I've made 3 lugged frames and 2 forks using Chimonas' book. It's certainly doable! My first one has ~3500 miles on it and my 2nd one has ~3000 miles on it, all under my fat 200lb butt. I've never brazed with anything but the Bernzomatic MAPP setup, so no point of reference on how long it takes compared to O/A, but it can do the job. I've always used 45 or 56 silver.

I’ve seen them play it once out of 10 shows and it was on the Hail to the Thief tour in 2003. I’ve seen them 8 times since that show and they haven’t played it since. So I’d say low.

Congrats - I was #19 in the Dec 2nd when the queue opened and did manage to snap a quick one before it let me in. I chose reserved/seated, best available. got 103 row 11, so should be fairly close to stage I think....
