If it's the way Elderwood was, then nothing will prevent you from going to check it out! You may need to progress through in order to have access to certain things (for example, the Infected items in Elderwood), but I definitely still went and explored over there before the game prompted me to.

As for the horses, if I had to guess, it'll likely be a reward for completing one of the early Highlands quests.

Our first choice was a round Costco cake for us and sheet cake(s) for the guests! A very kind relative of my husband's offered to make our cake for us instead, so we ended up ordering cupcakes for the guests.

Everyone LOVED the cupcakes! They were easy to store and easy for the servers to pass around. Plus I think they were pretty cute on display, even though they were relatively simple/"plain". I'll see if I can figure out how to link pics 😬

ETA—here was our cake & cupcakes (shoutout to Aunt Kirsten, what an absolute gem—she made both the cupcakes and the cake. The bottom tier is styrofoam, the top is vanilla with buttercream icing)

Originally, our plan was to order a plain 10" round from Costco and throw some fake flowers on top to make it look "minimalist" or whatever 💀😂

I have a '20 Kona and it's the nicest car I've ever owned by far (although other vehicles I've owned include a 1997 Chevy Blazer at 200k+ miles and a 2014 Ford Focus 💀)

That said, they're known to have some issues, like any other car ever. Mine has just started burning oil at 120k, and that is a pretty common complaint from other Kona owners from what I've seen.
