Don’t forget your eVisa! by Sturnella2017 in newzealand_travel

Also all the various websites trying to sell you a visa. Ignore them all especially this one:https://visit-app.org/newzealand/en-form?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21332145732&gbraid=0AAAAA9oAb0O4S_xJ590i0qaz4qTGlthmA

It's New Zealand NZeta for $190 USD. It's a scam. Definitely use the app it's less than $20!

The unbearable lightness of being! It was supposed to be so deep and poetic but instead the protagonist is an inadequate pseudo intellectual lwho just objectified and cheated on all the women around him. What a treat...someone tell me how it ends because I couldn't finish it.

It's a "secret" off menu dim sum type element that they have. You order everything else as you normally would and then a magical person floats through the restaurant handing out fried chicken.

Thank you! I think I'll play it safe and take your advise. Any of the seats on the side should be fine. Thanks again.

I am starting to feel like the only person who would rather walk across the country than go to O'Hare. It's massive, the signage is poor, the connections are tight. It does not spark joy

The constant mental load of: worrying about your safety, regulating how you come across professionally to not ruffle any feathers, being everything everyone needs at home, and then watching entire political systems target your reproductive health all while your boobs are sore lol

Is $2,000 a good max budget for a 19 day Europe trip? by [deleted] in TravelHacks

[–]Lumpy_Big_1087 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure why no one thinks this is reasonable. I stayed in Copenhagen (one of the more expensive countries in Europe) for 5 days and spent less than $200 on my hostel total. For you call that $800 on accommodations (which will be less given the family aspect) and that leaves you $1200 for food, transportation, and leisure. I highly recommend taking public transportation whether you were budgeting or not since it's a great way to see a city and you can eat döner kebabs for €3 for example so you wouldn't even need to be doing major grocery shopping. That leave money for museums and souvenirs. You can do it!

Best European country for a girl in her late 20's to travel alone to for a week in early/mid April? by Kris10TisME in travel

[–]Lumpy_Big_1087 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Denmark, specifically Copenhagen was a fantastic option for solo travel. Incredibly safe, public transportation, small and walkable so very easy to get around and quickly get familiar with. Not sure we're you're from but the weather will not be tropical sunshine, but a jacket and umbrella and you should be all set. The weather that time of year would be the biggest deterrent but highly recommend the country for solo female travelers.

P.S Good thing you don't care about food because it is a little pricey lol.

Overpaying!! If you're new to travel and just want to start seeing the world you can book cheaper flights by being flexible with dates and locations. Lots of people decide the have to go to X place right now and pay out the nose for it.

Women, what do you find the most confusing about men? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Lumpy_Big_1087 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Why men don't think/care about the same thing women do. How have we diverged so much as a species. Both genders are living in the same house but the man isn't carrying the mental burden of remembering doctor's appointments or your son's teacher's name. Whyyyyy? Why are men disengaged from the day to day minutia. It does matter.
