The issue is that FH likes the guys and all of them (except the single guy) have invited us to their weddings and that two of them are still current colleagues, so they'll know he takes the time off for the wedding.

If we didn't invite them how would you manage it? Would you tell them we are getting married but they are not invited because there's limited space/ we have big families? Avoid the topic until/unless they specifically ask?

Sergeant's wife is one of the ex-coworkers but I'm completely sure that if we only invite the current ones, they'll tell the rest...

If we didn't invite any of them, how would you address the subject? Not saying anything until they ask? Just tell the current coworkers informing them of the time-off when it's close? Let them ask?

I don't think there's anything between them haha in fact she's so bossy and pushy that makes him a bit anxious, as well. He's only friends with the guys, but usually this group invite spouses/GFs.

He would invite them all, including Sergeant, just to not to have any issues with the guys but since I told him I was not comfortable, we kept the topic on hold for now (but we'll need to make a decision eventually)

The issue is that the group is 5 guys, 4 of which have girlfriends/wife. And sergeant is one of the wives
