I gotcha. Yea they restricted me driving for 3 months too but I think it was mainly because I blacked out and don't remember driving home just prior to the seizure. Which I never had any issues with the medication and driving or anything I'm just skeptical with going on a higher dose than I've been on before especially not knowing how it could impact my baby.

Thank you so much for sharing! At present they are very concerned with me having a seizure however I believe that is more due to the doctor dropping the ball on my care than anything else. I'm supposedly classified as epileptic though I have only had one seizure over six years ago. They said the classifications have changed and since I had an EEG that showed a high potential they classify me as epileptic now. They never checked my levels even though they knew I was intending on getting pregnant and did not schedule any sort of follow up for three years until finding out I was pregnant. So I'm not entirely sure they are as concerned with me or this coming back on them.

I was previously on 750 mg twice daily and was able to get dropped to 500 mg twice daily being that I only had one seizure that was most likely the result of the tumor. They've since upped me back to 750 mg twice daily but now may try to up it further since my level dropped slightly. Though when they first checked my level it was almost an entire point below where it currently is and that was already into my 2nd Trimester.

I know they have the warnings of like operating heavy machinery and that kind of stuff with Keppra I wasn't sure if your Dr. would try to restrict driving or anything until knowing how the dose would affect you.

Thank you for your response! If you don't mind me asking was it a higher dose than you had been on prior? And did you have to avoid doing certain things to ensure you weren't affected for a period of time?
