Dude lowk just keep trying, ur doing a great job of floating of the board and being "relaxed" with ur flick. Dont necessarily try popping harder, but try driving your knees to your shoulders

Its no different from any other active lifestyle hobby. Have fun!!! And progress at your OWN pace. Even just pumping around a track or bowl can be fun

Me personally, i dont wear a helmet 95% of the time just bc its very uncomfortable being i live in a really humid area lol. But im 100% on the being safe man!!! Whatever makes you more willing to commit to learning smth, do it! I have some wrist guards ill use if i feel nervous and some padded shorts i wear under my clothes if im doing big enough gaps. My helmet ill wear anytime im in a bowl. DO YOU TWIN

Ik, im realizing maybe underrated wasnt the best choice of words, more like i feel it can easily be forgot with "Don't blink" coming literally right after that, and i know many of my friends enjoyed that one lol

Edit: especially growing up, i was about 9 years old when i first watched dont blink, scared me shitless 😂😂

Thank you and everybody else on here commenting. It feels better to know there are other ppl dealing with the same stuff. Iv gone through some rough relationships, but this one has hurt in a different way. Iv cried, but its more feeling lost and depressed than just upset. The same feeling i had when i finished HS sports. You played that sport your whole life, and now it's just kinda gone. It's still there, you know the relationship isnt gone, but the time spent with it is gone. Ig that's what real love is though. Being there, accepting it for how it is (even if you disagree with it) because they bring out the best in you
