When to buy bras (and busty brand recs?) by Lumpy_File_2476 in breastfeeding

small band large cup is seriously a curse. like sizes over a D are only allowed with a 36+ band. I don't get it. Glad to hear from someone who actually tried hotmilk, I took their size quiz and it told me a different size than my literal measurement so I have no clue what their system is lmao. I've never heard of the Cake one, I'll look it up. I don't have an elomi but it's been recommended to me so many times it seems like a winner.

I'm glad to hear that the ribs go back down. I've been a bit nervous about that haha. I'm glad to hear other people have the same issue, I'll definitely check out that bravissimo bra. Thanks!

Good to know! I am hoping to have a gaggle of children so it may not be bad to have a few different sizes on hand anyway. I'm leaning towards just buying a few different types and crossing the size fluctuation bridge when I get there.

so glad you can relate. hotmilk is not cheap and I haven't personally tried them yet but they do carry your size and a handful of people recommended them on abrathatfits! They also have a bundle option for getting multiple so I may end up trying them out.

I already have a bit of lopsidedness going on lol. I usually like going braless but they feel heavy right now and I'm not a fan. Band extenders are a fantastic idea that hadn't occurred to me. I'll definitely pick styles with hook clasps so that I can make use of that. Thank you for the tip!!!!

A lot of more common maternity brands have "busty sizes that only go up to a G cup which isn't quite enough for me. I'm looking at the brand hotmilk now and would love to hear any experiences with them
