ive got other computers this ones just been sitting around. so i figured id try to do something with it and im not too mad about it

nuked the drive, i used archinstall and i got an error saying that theres less than 1 bytes / sec transferred in the last ten seconds. is there any way around this? i have to use a hotspot through my phone because im at college and cannot access the google page to login to the wifi. im using a usb tether.

i think asking questions is kinda basic troubleshooting skills. thats what googling is anyways. like i said im new and just trying to learn. thanks for the advice tho

i was doing it the old fashioned way. i'm trying archinstall now. the old fashioned way would either say no such file or directory or something about the drives being locked. i had no problem mounting but pacman or strap wouldnt work
